ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

A win for us is a favour to SFC and Scum...........

Is conflicted
Also helps the tards which feels like the lesser of all the evils for some strange reason.

At the end of the day what is best for us is all that matters. I won't be thinking of any of them in the stadium tonight just us

And why are we here? Because the hope is stronger (and worse) than the pain. It keeps you in, you can't leave it. The highs are too high to forsake for the fear that this won't be our time.
The man speaks the truth.

I went to 5 cup finals in 10 years to watch my team lose them all (favourites in most of them too)........then the c**ts won one after I came to Oz!

The party back there was one to be remembered (c**ts kept phoning me all night)!

The optimism's starting to come back........c'mon CCM another 3-0 tomorrow will do nicely  ;D
Just remember we are the only team to come close to taking a toliet seat from 4th spot, every other year it has been either 1st or 2nd, so maybe 6 is a luckier number for us. ;)

I look forward to being proved wrong as we begin our triumphant march towards a winning run that culminates in us winning the post season cup from 6th and sets up another ACL campaign.

Or not

Results this weekend mean that it is now Wellington to catch. But we need Wellington to lose to Melbourne and Adelaide and we need to beat Perth.

there is still hope, but if we don't make, at least let us smash the scum.

It the damn break between seasons the worries me the most!

I would like to sneak sixth - just so that we could smash the Gold Coast precision diving team in the first match of the finals.

I'm hoping we make it, but I'm not holding my breath. Mathematically we can still do it.
To get there, we have to hope that Nix lose 2 home games in a row when they've only lost 1 all season so far. What's worse, the one they lost was away from Wellington (as is their next against Pissant Town). They are undefeated in Wellington, which is the last game and against us, who haven't beaten them (or scored against them) for 2 years.
Of course all this is totally irrelevant if we don't beat Glory, because I feel sure Nix will beat Adelaide. If they do and we don't, it's all over red rover.
Well, at least we won't get the spoon.

If we win all 3 games and other results go our way we can finish 4th.
if we win all 3 games and other results don't go our way we can finish 7th.

I think it get's too complicated and the mathematics changes by the day.Let's keep it simple, take it a game at a time. We have to beat Perth this week, if we do we still have another week of hope!! Would be good to get down to the last game against Wellington. If it's not to be, it's not the end of the world, let's plan for next season.
