We have remaining games against:

GCU (H)
Perth (A)
Scum (H)
Nux (A)

6th spot is currently held by Perth who have 27 points to our 26 and a game in hand (against Adelaide)

Their run in is:

Adelaide (A)
Nux (H)
CCM (H)
SFC (A)
Roar (H)

On paper an easier run in by far and if they simply win their home games, we will not be able to overtake them (according to my maths).

We simply have to win 4/4 but is it possible that the scum game can define our season? Are we going to have to suffer as they end our hopes.

I hope not

I think we'll be more or less gone before the scum game sadly.

And if we did scrape into the joke end of season comp we wouldn't deserve to be there anyway.

The whole things a farce imo......we really should be battling relegation.

I've watched my teams play a lot of crap football in my time but this last year has been the hardest ever.

Williams is becoming as big a tosser as Shields was.

On train can only pick it up with little bitty radio when I get to Woy Woy.

Adelaides loss means we can catch Wellington as well, 5th place. Alwats look on the bright side of life. Perth draw with Wellington after our 3 nil win over Fold, we can overtake both. Easy!

If the Mariners were to make the semis then go all the way and win the toilet seat, surely it would have to prove to the FFA once and for all what a joke the finals series is, esp. a 6-team one. We could win that toilet seat from here on, but the Mariners certainly wouldn't deserve to be seen as the 'best' team of the season.
