ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

found this:
Ferdinand's groin injury is no doubt a blow, although the pain was eased by Macheda's winner which the England defender pointedly celebrated directly in front of former Liverpool star Jan Molby, who was commentating on the game for BBC radio.

Hahahaha, my name's not David Votoupal..... I watch the reserve games online through MUTV.com - like Harry said, it's good to know what the youth and returning players are up to.  Not to mention Macheda is on FM09.  ;)

Some things are said because of a desire to support the No. 1 team again :piralaugh:

Don't worry Sym, Chelski will win something again soon.  :piralaugh: :piralaugh: :piralaugh:

Machedas' Hat-trick against Newcastle reserves last week was simply epic.
Proves that his fantastic turn and shot vs Villa was no fluke.

Wellbeck - Macheda.....The strike pairing destroying premier league teams in 2012

Schwarzers Fulham to take on Victory and Roar
06.04.09 | Andrew Slevison

Fulham have been booked to play two friendlies in Australia in July.

Sources have indicated that the English Premier League club will play Melbourne Victory in early to mid July and follow that up with a clash in Brisbane against the Queensland (soon to be named Brisbane) Roar.

Triball Football is pretty good when it comes to Australian news. I've followed their stories pretty closely and they seem to release news that is often accurate before some of the other sites. Lou Sticca is well connected.

There could be something in it GP.

Football wouldn't be the same without the hatred.

The hate is the reason we love it!

Long article about Manures finances, last bit should scare their fans shitless.

However, it is the level of debt that will be of concern to some United fans.

Red Football Joint Venture made interest payments of 68.8m on total loans of 692m in 2007-08.

The senior debt of 511.6m is secured against the club and its assets.

When the Glazers borrowed in 2005 to take over the club, some 152m was loaned originally by hedge funds at a 14.25% interest rate. These "payment in kind" loans are now worth 175.5m and are secured against the Glazer family equity.

"On a group basis, the debt to the hedge funds is soaking up the profits from the club playing side," said Mr Philp.

"The intention would have been to try and renegotiate those loans, but the current financial circumstances have made that difficult.

"That debt is a ticking time bomb that they have to pay off."

When it all goes tits up, your alternative is here:

(Or back to Arsenal or Chelsea more likely)

The greed that has consumed football and sport generally is reflective of a commercialised, greed-driven society that reeks of the worst extremes of consumer capitalism. Anything and everything can be sold out and prostituted for the sake of maximising profits and nothing is sacred.

It's exactly what brought this economic crisis upon us, and what may well be the impetus to bring football back to basics, back to being the people's game.

+1

Can't wait for the day when some of these rich owners of big football clubs decide they've had enough of their playthings, take their money and f**k off.......or go broke.....don't really care which.

Football and good football players were here long before these greedy bastards and will still be here long after they've gone.

The only difference will be the talent being spread amongst more clubs like it used to be and players won't be on the ridiculous money they are now.

I live and hope.
