ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Shouldn't it work the other way - we go onto the eastern side and away fans get punted to the western side?

Reason being that we're then visible on camera and away fans aren't, and it's easier for security/police to shepherd them out and away from the ground after the game (for derby games).

Then you look into the sun!

Sideline cameras can go anywhere.

Backstairs opposite and out into the park just as good as trying to restrict them under the bridge.

Easy way to find out, just do it one game - hopefully the regulars there won't be too put out.

PS. re old thread title ... some Marinators are already in better bays eg. 6,7,22, etc - what you are talking about is moving The Bay from 15/16 to say 2/3.

Craig, are you drunk? Worst thread ever IMO

Every club in the HAL has to have a reserved section for their core supporters group. Thats from the FFA, not the CCMFC. You know that.

Seriously, are you taking the piss with this thread?

*cough*
*whistles*

When we're attacking up that end, I don't think there's a more exciting seat in the stadium

+1 I love it in my 'home' behind the goal, and wont move for any reason

Wow, what a turn around in just 6 months but sadly I can see why.
Ofcourse having supporters behind goals >>> side of the field (like the Jest)
But at the end of the day Supporters that you can hear >>> behind the goal (with mute supporters :p).

How about another solution
Stadium in Tuggerah :p (Why not bring out another old topic )

Again, this was due to my thinking at the time that the move was for a splinter group. I would however as I have stated move if the whole supporters group moved, to anywhere with a roof

Definately would be best on eastern side where the current away fans go. You have no idea how much better the view of the game is even from such slight change in angle as well.

Sun would be the major problem, and is a positive reason for the western side.

This is something the marinators club would have to inform the club of prior to the new pricing plan being finished i would assume, so I think time would be minimal.

Definately worth it though. West or East. I am guessing mainly sat night games again, so sun not major issue, but a few sundays, and we need west. Probably safest to aim at western side.

That end of the field will also have the sound travel through the whole stadium with the breeze

Why pander to the fun police at FFA?

If FFA still wants a formal bay ... Bay 16 can stay .. just no-one much will sit there.

Agree with that 100%.I could never understand why you needed a specific bay.If the FFA insist that bay 16 is an "active" supporters bay just leave them thinking that, buy tickets for GA or where ever else you fancy and head there.No-one is going to stop you chanting and singing wherever you go.In fact it might get the rest of the stadium more involved.

Imo the fact that you actually identify yourselves as "active supporters " to the authorities is the only problem you have in regards to moving.

Is your support for this move so that you and Greenpole and 5 other bay 15ers can take over bay 16!
Or is it because you miss me and want to stand below me in bay 34?

Marinators club should not inform them.
