f*** off. First 8min and 3 big calls have gone to the Jest.
Williams normally takes a little longer than this to stuff a match up...
Should've been a red 20 seconds in, no flapping way was that a penalty, and our free just outside the PA was as blatant a yellow as they come.
going to be a long f****** 80minutes......
Colleague of mine has his first line in this match, I really, REALLY hope it wasn't him who made that atrocious offside call
4 terrible decisions against us in 11min

What can you say about this game??!!
Played well, dominated for most parts but got raped by ALL officials. Red card??? Last time I looked if you JUMP in two footed and make contact you're off! When a player wins the ball it's his and not the guy 3 times his size that turns his back on the ball and wins a penalty!! And what the f$&k was the officials thinking calling rose offside when he starts a run inside his own half and ruin a goal scoring opportunity.
The jets might take the points but thee FFA can suck my dick on behalf of Newcastle!!

Having had half hour to simmer down......
The ref screwed us. Worst refereeing performance in A-League history? And I bet he gets a game next week.
I counted 7 mistakes and 1 correct call (unfortunately it was the last minute goal disallowed)
Rogic is all class, his touch and passing is fantastic.
Rose had a mare, made virgili look like ronaldo for their 2nd goal.
Bernie has lost something. Pace or touch or both.
Goodwin is also class. Only scum player I'd have in our team.
Oh and Hutcho's post game interview was the best i've ever heard! Wish I could find a video of it.

Jeez, sometimes I hate football! We tore the Jets a new arsehole, especially in the first half. We played brilliantly, but just don't have the 'sting' needed up front at the moment.
Matty Ryan had a few sloppy moments, not like him at all.
Poor defending for the second goal. Looking at you Rosey and Dutchy.
Everyone else played out of their skins. Hard to pick a MOM.
The ref was a total 'homer'. Unbelievably bad.
Feeling more confident for the rest of the season now, as long as we can turn the dominance into goals.

The way I saw it the Mariners went out and started playing football from the get-go. The scum defended against that by hacking the crap out of us and that was enabled by the officials who were clearly in the scum's pocket. There was more than just home game advantage being played there and I wouldn't put it past those filthy, stinking scum that they're doing something very dodgy behind the scenes.
Anyway, that's just how it made me feel. In reality it was probably just a bunch of awful calls that just happened to all go against us when it counted.

As a referee, and seeing the way I've seen matches refereed (and the way I've seen inspectors expect matches to be refereed), I can understand (not agree with) 3/4 of those first-eleven-minute decisions. After that the first half wasn't a problem with the referees, really, and I missed the 2nd half.
Disappointing result - all too often we're the ones focussed on hacking in the derby and allowing ourselves to get outplayed as a result, but that wasn't the case here.
I'm still worried about our striking power - but Wee Mac, Rose and McBreen were doing great up front.
