ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Ljubo ingnored Timmy V's question twice:

"Ljubo, cant wait to see you playing next for the mighty Gold. Squadron love your efforts on and off the field. We tryed to express our opinions in Jan, but some of us were threaten with our lives. Football is life to us aswell and having a player like yourself, who isnt afraid to speak the truth is great.

Keep in Real. Timmy V Squadron leader. Cya in Korea Again."

Yeah, neither is half as good as some people imagine.
true...BUT each could offer something the mariners lack in- a nutcase at the back + a creative player.
Sometimes I feel we are too one dimensional

+1

And Patafta is still a kid with potential something we seem to be a bit short on.

I meant that Caceres isn't that great. For someone with some nice tricks he sure stop straight into trouble am awful lot. Then there's his passing, which isn't terrible but it's not drool-worthy either. He's meant to be our scalpel, but he's certainly not dissecting defences for us. Patafta has shown nothing more than the pitfalls of your write-ups being better than your football.

take out caceres of that last game vs Tianjin Teda and it would have been even more unbearable to watch IMO (can u imagine such a thing)

you reckon? he ran the ball into defenders constantly, gave away possession constantly, his passing was ho-hum. our threats that night seemed to come more from our work down the flanks through elrich, kwasnik and clarke.

the thing i don't get is that hutch gets bagged all the time for providing no options going forward and shit on the set pieces, and that's fine, but the bloke who's supposed by so many on here to be an awesome attacking weapon loses the ball constantly. hutch at least tends to turn the ball around to one of our players - he doesn't constantly hand it over. he plays simple (boring, if you will) passes that keep possession while caceres pulls out the tricks and puts us on our heels because he's lost the damn ball.

when we were looking good that night, it was actually because the simple passes were working, the ball was doing the work and we created triangles. hutch is almost always one of the points of the triangle. meanwhile caceres did a good line in falling over in helpful places and getting whistles (if caceres does it, great, if hutch does it he's f**king useless... ::) ).

and con's right of reply:

http://www.theherald.com.au/news/local/sport/soccer/con-returns-serve-on-ljubo/1530101.aspx

"What hurts me most is that he is talking to the fans, telling them he is doing this for the players.

"The players wouldn't piss on Ljubo if he was on fire.

even more rofl - quote of the century from con and probably true

read it! still say he'd have little reason to be outspoken here. That's not saying he should be here...
