ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I know we have a youtube thread.

But this is new Year 12 Scum Maths test.... the last 20 secs or so gives examples.

Many have failed this test mind you so don't be to hard on them plus they are looking for more examples in addition to the ones they have used at the end of the clip.

My main thought was that comparing oneself to Con can never be a good thing.

after reading reports of his behaviour at the recent trial game i'd say he's trading 'ice' for food, rent, hair-cuts, illegal recreational drugs, official prescribed drugs, psychiatric treatment etc.  ;)

Loyal Clubman earns highest honour

On the eve of the teams departure for Beijing for its opening game in the AFC Champions League 2009, the Newcastle Jets today announced that Matthew Thompson has been given the honour to wear the captains armband for this prestigious tournament.

In announcing Thompson as captain, the club also announced that henceforth the captains armband will be worn by the player with the most number of top-flight appearances for the club."

I believe Matt is a good choice, but "captains armband will be worn by the player with the most number of top-flight appearances for the club" ... how loony is that?

I would certainly hate for us to find out that is the reason for Wilko's selection.

see how long the captain thing lasts...some players no matter the time with the club are still the best choices
would have sucked in QLD- when Moore comes
Are Jets saying if they ever get a Moore type player bad luck- typical illogical behaviour

They are trying to encourage club loyalty by dangling the carrot of captaincy.
Simply won't work.

Even if Jets captaincy had immense prestige (which it clearly doesn't), mangoes don't equal thousands of dollars offered by numerous other clubs.
