ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Now see, everyone should follow cbowden9000's example. If we all did that, we would get a crowd of 84,370 at the next game.

Congrats to BigMac & his wife on the birth of LittleMac. Hope this fires him up & he stacks on a real turn Friday night. A hattrick would be nice.

I'll be bringing my old man for the first time... he's not even been to the stadium since it's been built. Finally got him to take up my many offers and come along for a game.... he usually sits at home with a few brews and listens to it on the "wireless" as he calls it.... here's hoping I can make him a more regular visitor for the home games.

Bring it on!!! Can't wait til Friday!!

Is anyone allow to bring drums into the stadium or do they have to be registered or something?
If you take in a drum do you have to sit in "The Bay"?

Couldn't imagine you being too liked by the people around you if you started banging a drum in their ear.

Why don't you come into Bay 16 and help Jimmy out?

If me and my mates knew or could understand the chants we would.

We weren't that worried about being liked we were planning on sitting in the bay next to the away fans.

How do you expect everyone other than the < 480 people in Bay 16 to join in if you don't make them clearer to hear and promote them?

The call and response chant on the big screen before the Adelaide game was a huge success at trying to promote chants hey.

very simple though isn't it, if people want to learn the words come to the bay or away games, we'll try to pronounce our words clearer for you to understand  . What better way to promote the chants than at the games and pre-match? We all know that people outside the bay area don't really care expect for the usual chants and that's fine, it's their choice, but if they want to learn more come to where we stand.

480 active supporters in bay 16.......wouldn't that be nice

Jesus Christ... Please tell me you're kidding?
Exactly as Deej said - if anyone wants to learn the chants/join in, come stand in the Bay... Come hang out pre-game.. We don't bite (often).
What do you suggest, Kevrenor, we scatter everyone throughout the stadium so the chants are 'easier for people to understand', and leave no-one in Bay 16? Maybe we could sing 'Let's go, Mariners' for 90 minutes straight.

NO, don't be childish ... like Deej's crack about the big screen also!

I'm not kidding ... surely after 5+ years we can eventually get past arguing about chants and songs - there have been hundreds of posts and thousands of words spilt.

Also if the club is to have some future in supporters we have to learn that we aren't Sydney FC or Melbourne Victory - everything can't just be about the Bay! Sure you want people to come there but most won't - get over it.

Some people in other parts of the ground might join in (as at times they have tried) if some chants could be found that lasted long enough (during game and during the season that people could pick up on them ... especially if they were simple (no not Mariners clap clap) and slow enough!

The best time to learn them anyway is away games.

My reluctant view after 5+ years!

The definition of insanity is doing the same things for 5+ years and expecting a different result.

I fancy us to win this one 2.0.

McBreen and Bozanic to score and a crowd of 7,612.

Stick with the same starting 11 as last week.

A few simple chants in the Kendall bar before the game would be a start.
Maybe even getting the words up on the screen (in the bar)....just a suggestion.
