God that was an aweful match to sit and watch. Manya time I was tempted to switch it over, but my lovely missus teasing me about the fact that Moore scored against us, was enough to sit there in spite of her!
WHO was supposed to mark Moore, he came in from the outside of the penalty box - free a as bird it seems -and was able to aim that header straight in!
Righteo, I've read the above comments. It is a bad match when you rate the Goalie and a Centre defender as your MoMs. Is that right with 0, ZERO, shots on goal. Just about sums up Mrdja's effort for sure.
FFS, is it only me that is noticing that whenever Mrdja is on the pitch in the team, the team falls to shit?
Last night, I noticed that Kwassi was quite tentative around the prick, and he pushed our best form forward onto the wing, making Matt do the dirty work for the hooked nose prima donna! No wonder Simon had a poor game by his standards, I'd find it galling having to run on a bad knee for that c**t too.
Mrdja (*SPIT*) had at least TWO opportunities to snub out a Roar counter attack when it was still in their defence line, and he slowed down and let them run up the flank. This wasn't late in the game either when maybe tiredness might have been an excuse. He harangued Kwassi and McGlinchey from what I could see on TV, about the service of the ball to HIM. 0 shots on goal Nik, says it all. NOW f**k OFF YOU MISERABLE c**t AND LET THE REST OF THE SQUAD TAKE IT FROM HERE - GO FISHING!!!!!
We *could* have done better with a half game from Caceres, but Travis' cameo was good to watch. He did stuff up some passing moves and looked a bit rusty, some of crosses into the forward line were too deep for example. He appeared to take over the ACM role from McGlinchey when he came on. The little man with the big heart didn't have a great game by what we've seen before, but maybe the likes of Tiatto, Moore & Malcolm studied the videos of him, and made sure he didn't get room?
In all, a dire performance from the Mariners. Maybe it was the heat, I've heard it has been hot up there, by seasonal comparison, and maybe they felt it a bit more than what the Roar did?
