ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Round 22 - Nix @ CCS

In our favour - WU were desperate for a win to get their season back on track. The Nix should feel like they'll be able to walk this one in so may not be as chomping at the bit for the win as previous teams who totally had to beat us were.
Small hopes really.

If the team is up for it, like against SFC we are a chance. If not I hope there is not a flogging.

It depends who turns up to play, Dr. Jekyll or Mr Hyde.

Talay looks to be a very good coach imo. Has them not just well set up, but mentally they’ve nearly always had their heads on and are raring to go.

Despite our position we’ve played a decent amount of good football this year. But you have to score goals, and you can’t have your DM’s and backline taking turns making horrendous and avoidable individual errors that cost goals.

So only way we win is if we stay error free and Murray and co finally put the ball in the net. Having DDS and Oar hardly helps with that. Harold at least looks likely. Shame about Kuol, he looked raw but also looked like he might get himself on the sheet. Has ability and was clearly super hungry.

I agree, and along with me, God knows short of a penalty, we can't trust the forwards to put any in.
I think it's a bit rich to expect the three middies to get the goals and to do all the defending as well!

Harold at striker so we may as well be playing a drop back tactic today. Going to be a long 90 minutes for those going to the game.

Not saying we can't win

Same story as always. No recognised 9. Struggle to see how and where we score.

Anyway, just arrived at the ground. Hoping for a spirited performance given it's pink round and for the Gumprecht fam. COYY!
