ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Can't wait to see MiniMatt in action again.

Apparently tackling is now outlawed from the game.

Some terrible decisions fron legitimate tackles.

is there any punishment when a team commits too many fouls? if I am not totally wrong I read something about this issue after the 1st match of this season as the Mariners committed many fouls when they played away to Melbourne

We created a lot of chances and on a better night I think we could have pinched it 4-3.

Ref was appauling tonight.

Is it obvious to anyone else that Elrich is playing for a contract. I thought he looked dynamic at times in the short time he was on.

Lots of positives to take from the game tonight...just wasn't our night.

Crowd 7,500 odd, will be lucky to get 5k next week.

Yet another lacklustre, appalling performance.

Wonder how long before CCM push the panic button? Cant be too far away if they listen to the crowd.

2nd to every ball all night.

I thought we were totally outplayed in the first half and were lucky to be level at half time.

Second half was an improvement yet we lose 3-0....wtf ?

No wonder the A-League crowds are down.......hardly anyone wins at home.

Nine goals in 2 weeks away.........no goals 2 weeks in a row at home.... ???

Disagree about next weeks crowd though FFC......we'll get 7,000 odd again......seems to be the regular crowd now whether we're good or bad.

If a player's committed a number of fouls then they can get booked for persistent infringement, or it may be a determining factor in a borderline card.

However, AFAIK there's no punishment for a team committing too many fouls, from the referee or the FFA.  I believe that a team misconduct charge applies if a team picks up 5or more cautions in a match.

Pathetic.  I actually thought we were the better team in the first half, but it all turned to shit when Lawrie subbed Kwas for Mrdja.  Seriously, in a game like this you need a player who's going to put in some work at both ends of the pitch, defence and attack.  Why would you take that player off for a rubbish, unproven striker?

Wasn't impressed he took off Matty Lewis either, I thought he had a gun match, was great in both defence and attack...

Disappointing.  Most of our players were flat footed, and we looked like we just didn't have a clue what to do with the ball up the business end of the pitch.

Sorry mate we were battered 1st half, were slightly more competitive 2nd half (but only just).

What Mrdja was going to do that Kwassie wouldnt, I have no idea. Elrich would have at least made some sense as he did look sharp.

Only assume Lewis was tired. The kid is fantastic and nice to see the yoof turn out a player.

Lets hope we have the balls to blood some more.

Panni for Pedj is a no brainer really
