ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Stating that the player KNEW things and thereby implying malicious premeditated action... f**k off Rudan I was wrong about you. You're not just a simple straight shoot shooter. You're a total dick.
He was fired up. Bad tackle. Gets a red. Nothing more to see OR COMMENT ON here. Now lets' talk about Muscats horror tackle... The opposite. A far worse and clearly intentionally malicious. They all condemned the tackle, but immediately and devoutly defended Kevin's character.
Which is beyond ironic when he has a rep so bad it's still remembered internationally. Monty plays hard, but RARELY commits a a 'bad' foul. And is far less dirty or a niggler than say either of the Muscat's or say a Jamison or Sigmund or many others...

It's only his second red in his professional career too (I'm pretty sure, the other being the one that cost him playing in the grand final)

Yeah that for two yellows. And the way he was playing you could see it coming. I remembering saying to my mate that I didn't know why Arnie didn't sub him.

I'm wondering if The Mariners are making themselves look a bit silly over this though. It would have been better to have had a quiet word really. But if that many members have contacted the club I suppose they have to be seen to be doing something. I'm sure fans at other clubs are thinking we're idiots doing this.

Not to get *too* personal but it's worth noting some relationships I think

Robbie Slater -- father of discarded CCM player Tom Slater
Mark Bosnich -- discarded CCM guest player and Western Sydney boy
Mark Rudan -- brother-in-law of discarded CCM player Eddy Bosnar
Andy Harper -- former Sydney FC CEO

Is it any surprise these people in particular have lined up at our club with both barrels in recent times (or longer?)

To be honest, I dont understand why Bozza would hold a grudge against us. He is not really a CCM discard. He blew out his hammie whilst playing for us. It was clear to all and sundry that his career was over. Other than being a WSW boy, there shouldn't be any ill-will. It's more a case of being brainwashed by the others I'd say. Agree FC Moss and Arnie who supports Moss are part of it...

On Bozza ... seems to me that since he did that big rallying call re the home ends with Jones and Wilson he has become more like Fozzie in thinking and saying big and important things like FFA should listen to Fox on how to run the game much like SBS have done for years ...

Bozza's calling for P & R and bagging out us and the Jerks ... maybe he needs someone to put him back in his corner as his ego is starting to get the better of him...

To be fair to Bozza his job is to talk first think second, which he does well.
Usually get a good chuckle out of him. Just don't pick on us.

Don't care what other clubs think, they just pissed they didn't think of it.

Club supporting members beats being whingers

Harper is probably the fairest in that lot.

He's been alright lately when his cohorts have been negative. He used to be pretty dismissive of the club - I remember a few 2GB breakfasts last year on the A-League show on weekends where he'd slam us over and over.

Bozza has a soft spot for us but due to the influence of the Sydney FC effluence and they fact he thinks Mikey has crushed a great club.....he is willing to kick us when we are down.

BUT Mikey now realises the value of the rough cut diamond he holds.
