ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Arh FFS - after last week, most people were agreeing that Trent looks great but could probably do with some more prep work before he really hits the A-league.
Since then, he's been announced on the NPL team and I think he's regularly playing for the NYL team yeah?

But now it's a problem that he wasn't picked?

I think he did well, but I don't think we'd be doing him OR HB a favour by picking them for the first team just yet.

NPL team are playing aren't they? TB and THB will be playing in the NPL side and prepping for the year, right? That's probably a better use of their time than a wild goose chase for consolation points in a spoon year.

I think there is a requirement that players in A-League NPL sides can't have played more than 5 games in the A-League. That might be another reason to leave him out. He'll get much better development starting in the majority of NPL games rather than making a few more substitute appearances.

They're talking about a Central Coast Cup game Gosford v Kariong tomorrow - not recruiting him thankfully

No Ollie (concussion) or Barbarouses (suspended) and someone less significant can't remember who and coming back from Japan.

We are a chance but they won't take us lightly after Geelong.

I'll say a 2-1 loss, Finkler free kick and Berisha goal with error at the back. Roy goal to show us what we've been missing.

We were paying 5.50 and I was tempted to have a bet but ended up putting the money on Perth to beat the scum.

I'll be there.
Looking forward to seeing Paddy playing with Luis.
Yeah is movement should be rewarded if we can get past half way.

Actually have a good squad just missing Monty so will be interesting to see how midfield goes

The Mariners have struggled to create chances of late with just 2.5 shots on goal per match in their last six but have managed to convert 47%. They regain three highly important players for this match with Jacob Poscoliero, Fabio Ferriera and Roy O’Donovan all back from suspension. They do lose captain Nick Montgomery however he has been far from his best in recent weeks.

The Victory have a reasonably good conversion rate of 26% from shots on goal but have struggled for chances of late with just 3.8 shots on goal per match resulting in just six open play goals in their last six matches (including one own goal). Oli Bozanic is also in doubt for this match suffering a head knock midweek against Gamba Osaka in Japan.

Mariners $5+ for the win
$4+ the draw
