Very poor game.

While i appreciate forwards defending from the front we played far too deep and no one led the line. It was almost like a 6 man midfield. Perez was great for first 30 mins but faded as the support play for him was poor.
I think we went there looking for a draw. I felt we really missed Bozanic as Hutcho gives us zero penetration.

Again hard to give MOM as no one shone again.

My highlight was seeing Hutch getting subbed and the dirty look on his face.

Good to see Mrdja get his obligatory 2 mins. Both strikers were well off the pace but i think that the ref did us no favours as they were treated harshly by Thwaite and Dublic. Certainly was not a 9-21 foul count as he saw it.

Hutch just can not play left mid. Caught out of position way too much and his first movement after passing is back towards the centre defence every time. Would have been better served playing 4-2-3-1 with Kwas on the left and shunting one of the strikers. That way they would not have had as much time on the ball as they ended up with.

what sh#ts me is hutcho's first touch 9/10 times bobbles up to his knee's and when he finally gets it under control the opposition is all over him.

We played to the conditions but that just shows we might just have a decent team as with all those stats against The mariners Blieberg and co still could not conjure up a result.
