ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Just on your photo Recky their is contact with the front foot ... but at pace how can the back foot get over Reddy's arm...

Basically, if you're going to dive, make sure it's obvious to the referee that you're diving so that you only get a yellow card.

I agree with Robbie. Stamping out diving is exactly what we need, but they haven't exactly picked the best incident to make an example of.

The Perez incident is typical of Breeze...total over reaction.
He got the decision right but then makes a meal of the situation by sending off Reddy.
I suggest that if we are to have a MRP then they should look at the whole game & not just the players.Take a look at the referees & linesmen too!

Brilliant and well spoken response by Robbie Slater, never thought id say it and it may just be coz of his best mate Arnie, but seriously, he has it spot on, he draws the obvious and begging point to attention the the Baird case is completely seperate and emphasises how bad the decision was, he even names the people that were on the board which was fantastic! Force them to stand by their decision and face the media!

Brilliant work Robbie, finally someone in a position to do so has voiced the frustration of thousands of mariners fans, even if nothing comes of it, its good for the Central Coast and good for Perez to know that one of the most outspoken commentators backs him.

Robbie was great. But did you see/hear Bozza and harper, but especially Bozza on Fox Sports FC?

BRILLIANT!!!

Everything that need to be said was said.

FFA this an outrage and a TOTAL DISGRACE!

So grateful that those who should be are speaking out about it.

Good article!

If the FFA is going to play the game this way, I have made the decision not to go to Friday night's game(including taking the family). You may say this is going to hurt the Mariners, however, I believe Perez and the Mariners have been treated unfairly by the FFA; there is no conclusive evidence that Reddy didn't connect with Perez. It is hard enough for the Mariners to compete on an even keel with other clubs which seem to have much more in resources($) and then the FFA comes out with this bullsh*t!!

So, forget it FFA! I'm not spending my hard earned $ to watch my local team try to beat Victory with a squad that has been unfairly depleted by FFA muppets. Maybe it will take several A-League clubs needing to be financially supported by the FFA before they realize that you can't treat the paying customer like an dumb ass!

I will always go to bluetongue to watch the Mariners, and I suggest you do the same. The best way to stick it up the crooks at the FFA is show the best possible support on Fri night.
What I am seriously considering though is never going to a SFC game again. Why should I pay a whopping $25 to watch that scum of a club. No wonder their own city hates them, I am starting to take pleasure in their dwindling crowds. I now hate Sydney more than the Jets. Cant wait to see them lose another $5m this season.
Every moment I am hoping to hear about legal action against this decision as I am sure they would win, but I can't see the Mariners having enough money for it.

I won't boycott BT either, apart from the fact I've already paid my money. There will undoubtedly be chanting in favour of PP and I want to add my voice. I would hate for him to think that we the fans don't want him. We need to do everything we can to persuade him to stay.
The stupid thing is, the FFA could defuse this so easily. Set up a video link with the players & club reps and the MRP, allow the players to put their case, the panel put their heads together as if they're considering, then say "OK, we don't agree with you. The suspensions stand." End of controversy.

so in the same way players are suspended, i presume referees cant be, even for woeful decisions
like those against heart, as they are a protected species. crock of sh**

We have already borrowed A LOT of money form the FFA in the past. People not turning up will only hurt the club. The club needs its supporters now more than ever.

If you want to show your disapproval towards the the governing body, just boycot national team games.

"But Reddy is adamant he made no contact with Perez, who crumpled to the deck as if as paralysed by a fast acting pathogen."

If anyone was ever in any doubt that "the Worldshame" was biased, after watching the show on SBS Monday night and being nauseated by the bias from Foster & co, the above quote from their website would have to confirm it. I haven't included the link because I don't know how to, if anyone else wants to read the spew-making stuff you can find it easily enough.

I wasn't able to find a comparable piece on the site where PP was given the chance to give his version, but Reddy is permitted to brand him a cheat and the editorial does the same.

I won't go to that website again & I will never look at anything football on SBS again either.

I have now moved the Scum down to my second-most-hated team in the league as well.

Also, have a look at Foster's tipping record in the SMH.

Jog on, then.

"Oh, I'm not going to come and support my team because our star player has been suspended by a corrupt governing body".

You think no-one else on here is fuming about this debacle?

Harden the f**k up, get to BTS, and show your support.

Yeh, if you want to send a message to the FFA, then send a message to the FFA (i.e. an email!) rather than disadvantaging the Mariners even more.

I agree.
Your voice won't be heard when you're sitting at home sulking.
Get to the game, get in Bay 16 whether you usually do it or not and show your support for the player, the team and the club.
