ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Rd 4 Sydney vs Mariners

Biggest load of shit ever, esp the fact the players/clubs have no right of appeal

This is a denial of natural justice - convicted with no right of appeal, branded a cheat with no right to present your defence. One of these days, something like this will end up in court, and the sooner the better.

I'm not saying the MRP are wrong (although I believe they are in WeePat's case), but to have no right of appeal is diabolical, like a police state.

Benefit of doubt goes to the attacking side.

When I was young and had some sense
I bought a flute for 20 cents
the only tune that it could play
was f**k Sydney FC and the FFA

Have you seen another angle? Cause if you haven't all angles are inconclusive and there isn't enough evidence to say that he was not touched. If he was touched even in the slightest there is nothing they can do about it. You can't suspend someone on the assumption that he dived.
Yes you can, and they have!

You don't know what would have happened if Reddy hadn't been sent off.

Once a player is wrongly sent off that logic goes out the window. For all you know sydney might have won 6-0 or you might have won 6-1.

As for the people in here claiming 'how can u ban him if there was inconclusive evidence waaa'. Well, i think to the neutral, its 100% clear hes simulated. He goes down before there is even an opportunity for contact, and then it never comes.

the contact is on the trailing leg.

Lets move forward to better things!

Did anyone see the big smile Perez has on his face when his goal was called offside, he knew he wasnt offside but he has a good sporting smile on his face and shrugged it off, I think we can all admire this and aspire to it, lets shrug it off and beat Sydney again, next time, we are good enough, f**k the FFA, we are gonna get a home grand final this year and stick it to them!
Me thinks if it was a Sydney player they would have chased down the ref and/or linesman and abuse them for their blatantly wrong, and imcompetent decision!
What a farce!

For those claiming lost points due to official errors in Saturday's match, I'd like to offer a saying from my old coach (many years ago but quite true today):
"If you're beaten by one bad umpiring decision, then you weren't f**king good enough."

Anyone else notice the four four two article about new footage on perez incident, all I saw was the title saying "perez footage revisited?" and then 5 seconds later the story was removed....

Can't understand how they can go back and use video evidece here but couldn't do anything when Griffths flicked the linesmens nuts, it either has to be all incidents reviewed and judged by video or none they can't pick and choose.

Not gonna write a load of shit about the Perez decision, at the end of the day a decision has been made and we have to deal with it. If the club want to fight it in any way (even thou they were told they can't) then that's up to them.

Personally I believe there was too much doubt, I straight away thought dive when I saw the replay but there could have been minimal contact. Did Perez milk it? Yes, was it a penalty? If there was contact then yes! Is there enough proof to suggest he dived? No

Either way, I hope this motivates the rest of the team and they shove it up the FFA's arse and we win the next 2 games! Plus I hope Matty does to Muscat what he did to Skoko, bring on Friday, I'm pumped, FTT!

Brilliant and well spoken response by Robbie Slater, never thought id say it and it may just be coz of his best mate Arnie, but seriously, he has it spot on, he draws the obvious and begging point to attention the the Baird case is completely seperate and emphasises how bad the decision was, he even names the people that were on the board which was fantastic! Force them to stand by their decision and face the media!

Brilliant work Robbie, finally someone in a position to do so has voiced the frustration of thousands of mariners fans, even if nothing comes of it, its good for the Central Coast and good for Perez to know that one of the most outspoken commentators backs him.

How is this related Mick?? Not having a go, just curious incase I missed something. ;)

Alan Davidson was one of the people on the MRP, his son was not offered a contract with the Mariners, there is room there for speculation and gossip :p
