ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

RD 2: Roar vs Mariners

Surely a penalty? Challenge from behind, any further behind he'd be back in front.

Home ground advantage.......

Just seen that penalty again in slow-mo and no doubt it was a clear penalty, and as they said the ref should have seen it clearly.

Williams is worse than useless. Despite the counter punch second goal, still a good response by the Mariners in the 2nd half.

So one of our three full time ref's has missed two blatant "play on advantage" opportunities and a penalty. Hope this accountability stands up.

Hmmm - we seem to run well out of legs in the last 20 - same thing last weekend... Let's hope they can fix that up...

Ah, feel better about 2-1 than 2-0 that's for sure, considering how good Roar looked and how we was robbed of a Pen - there's still a bit of work to be done, but this could turn into a rather good season after all I think :)

Well that went better than expected. I'm bummed, but not as bummed as all of last season due to the fact we actually did reasonably well.

Brisbane seriously ran out of puff there at the end, Mariners had the better share of possession and chances that second half. Shame our defence is serious rocks and diamonds with nothing in-between. But still 100% better effort from the lads than all of last season.

Ashcroft summed it up well, there was good, there was bad and there was ugly. But he's a kid so as long as he improves, I'd keep him. And that's what I want to see, young kiddies who seriously bugger up occasionally getting redemption (and then become awesome players that we can make bucketloads of cash off to fund the next lot).

Also Peter Green strikes again. I'd like to think that in the age of professional referees there would be a sanction for missing an obvious pen that probably would have changed the course of the match. Nope, who am I kidding.
