ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

For a start that's only 10 players. For seconds, are you really suggesting we play Flores on the wing?

as long as dukes up front and starts with macka .
we need goals and I believe this is how we'll get them

ugh, listening to the podcast, Hutch himself admitted that Flores is doing heaps of defensive work because "thats the way we want the number 10 to play"

like we get it and we appreciate it, but man if you want the most out of him get him staying forward.

The problem with Hutch being so deep though if the huge gulf between him our first out let & our next being flores. This is where the turnovers are occuring. Hutch is getting way to deep & there is a massive hole between the DM's & the AM's/Fwds.

Once hutch gets rid of the ball his role in attack is to play as part of a back three with the centre halves, thus allowing both fullbacks to go forward. It worked brilliantly last year, not least because Zwanny had the ability to switch the side of attack with one long pass. We are also missing Bernie on one wing.

Maybe without those passes, and lesser attacking options wide, and with Flores we need the wingers to work infield a bit more in attack. Glinch does this well, but often goes one touch too many.

I would like to see more "one, two" passes (or even one, two, three) between Flores and our wingers to maintain forward momentum in the attacking third.

Away again this weekend. The second week in a row. Hopefully I can find a place to watch the game.

Its fair to say that we need to win this game otherwise we are in danger of losing touch with the front runners.

No ADP - He's out according to his own twitter

World game running the tweet.

We have been very defensive trying to gel the new back four but once we have gone down a couple of goals we cranck it up. I'd rather we cranck it up a bit earlier especially at home. Happy to play first half with caution but not the 2nd

Tis no secret the Flying Circus are still hurting from the seven goals last season... they will be fired up I think we scored the last 3 goals in the final 15 mins....
