ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Look at the number of times they were one stupid pass away from a clear shot. We were carved *and* we were rubbish with the ball.

They're the points you treasure, because if you're f**king terrible and take a point, the nights you're just ordinary you're going to nick it (e.g. last week in Perth) and if we ever actually play well we're going to f**king destroy someone.

So think of it this way; we *were* terrible, but that isn't the same as saying we *are* terrible.

Ha! That would be glorious. We haven't done the make-it-to-an-interstate-grand-final thing yet, it'd be fun to try it.

Wasn`t the Brisbane grandfinal interstate? If not I want my airline fares back.

We should bring back pasfield
On that showing i`d have to agree with you Syd,
Passfield could take the place of a number of guys that marauded as players on friday night.(Reddy excluded of course)

I wasn`t overly impressed with Mossy`s interview afterwards though. If that is the standard he`s willing to accept then it`s going to be a long season...

Mossy's putting on a positive spin to keep up morale

Did you see Ned Zelic's blow apart after Mossy's post-game interview? Typical Zelic style he was so over the top saying that if other people would agree with Mossy's assessment that we did alright defensively then he would walk out and retire from being an analyst on the spot. I wouldn't go that far, but Mossy was a bit nicer on the defence post-match than I would've been, Sains saved out butt a lot but we did allow a crap load of chances.

Guy's, in all seriousness, couldn't you have chanted something different than what every other club is chanting. To hear "we sing for yellow" was bad enough but then to bust out tetris! Surely you can be more original. And go on, claim you started 'who do we sing for' even though no one has heard you sing it for years.
Don't wanna start a furore but I'm quite sure you have enough talented people to come up with some original chants. FWIW though, I loved hearing the trumpet and drums. Much better.

Wait... you're complaining about us doing tetris?

Okay. I'll admit, I saw a video of you guys doing tetris dated start of 2012 - however I hadn't seen this until after we'd already started doing tetris, and I'd certainly never, ever heard you guys do it. I guess you're just not very good at it, huh.

But, then you still have the gall to complain that we do "Who do we sing for" - in spite of the fact that you're well aware that we've been doing that since before you existed (and you should probably remember singing it when you were wearing sky blue)..

TL;DR - "Hello, pot? Yeah, this is kettle..."

Zelic is a class 1 cock head. Possibly the biggest mug in Australian football.

Forget about what other people say. Just do what feels right... and it will work. If it upsets a small minority of opposition fan groups then that's just an added bonus :) Remember, NOTHING any fan group does is original... it's all been done before.

With this in mind, we need to be doing Sailing at some stage during the match day activities.
