ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Maybe, though at least 4 of those positions will be hugely debatable.:)

Reddy
Storm boy Trent Griff jr Rosey

Monty Caceres
Matty Wee Mac
Dukey

I'd start with the same team that started in Perth (if Monty's fit).

Reddy
Roux Sainsbury Griffiths Rose
Monty Hutch
Duke Flores McGlinchey
Simon

Caceres can't do 90 minutes yet it seems, and I'd rather see him coming on against tired legs.

Plan for Monty for 60 then Caceres to change gear and add a #8 in place of the second #6.
Sterjovski for Simon (Duke up top, Sterj to the flank).
McBreen for Flores.
Pasfield obviously reserve keeper.
Anderson/Seip as the other option (can add one to go to a back three if a radical shift is needed), something like:

Reddy
Seip_Sainsbury_Griffiths
Roux_____Hutch_____Rose
Flores McGlinchey
Duke________Simon

Dibo, you read my mind.

Gonna be a tough test. Hopefully we can bring some pain for 'em, if we win it can keep us in the hunt for the Plate. If not, gun for the toilet seat.

Same eleven as started in Perth for me unless Monty unfit in which case Caceres.
We played some very good football in Perth; it will be interesting how our young defence goes against their high press and speed on the break, and our attack against their defence which looks like a fault line waiting to happen.
McGlinchey and Flores to rule :overheadl:

We used the corner pocket as an outlet from goal kicks against the glory which put the ball at Grifths feet & opened a different outlet angle. Will be interesting to see if we implament that again to avoid the press or limit a turnover to the sideline where it is easier to recover.

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
Muskrat?...that got cleaned up.....fear not to me that slug shall ever be a Musc**t
to the game...It looks like Monty wont get to have a run....and I'm no tactical genius, so if the following makes no sense ..ignore it... so its up to Caceres and Flores to carve them up ...and the boys to protect AC so he can get the business going....I think i'd swap Matty and Dooks around ...Mitch was looking lost out there on the side .....up to griffo and tesco to shut down archie and that blow in from Brisbane......and finally with all the shonky news this week, heres hoping we draw a decent crowd
final score 1-0 Us

. friday night game ... our first on fta ... questionable weather forecast

. i fear any 'protesting' may be poorly timed ... poor crowd numbers could be used by either side of the argument

Never heard of a Yorkshireman missing a game due to a corked or dead leg?

If Monty is unfit then I'd guess we would go 2 up front, start Mile on the left, Mikey on the right & Hutch as the lone Do. Then go really hard at them for a lead, & have the smallest possible space in between the front & back line while defending
