ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Has there been much publicity for this one? It's a pretty big deal saying goodbye to 2 of our most popular players ever in one game. Hope so and the Coast comes out in force and creates a great atmosphere. TBH we haven't had too many games lately with a big, noisy crowd so would be great to get that.

Front page of the Express is all Hutch.

Nice interview. :)

But what did he mean when he said he just hopes his little angel (daughter) keeps away from "those Reddy boys"? ;)

Matt Simon did get his big send off in the Victory game before he went to Sth Korea, but it would be great to see him get some game time.

f**k giving him game time. 3ft wingers as centre forwards don't win games. Matty Simon with a point to prove can and probably will win us the game.

Does anyone know if I can take a camera with a 300mm zoom lens into the stadium tonight?

I purchased an extra ticket at 10.30am and the pax was 9474. So we should be looking at a crowd in excess of 13k.

Here is hoping anyway.

Yeah I'm not even going to put a downer on Ando, because, frankly he had a blinder, for him. Matter of fact, I won't criticize anyone, after all, we won our last home game, and gave Hutch and Matty Simon a great send off. And on that note, thanks to all the Wanderers fans who stopped their poznan thingo and turned around to cheer Hutch when he was subbed off, well done Wanderers fans, even the active away supporters applauded. You have raised your esteem in my eyes. (a bit anyway, ;) )

What a grand night out.

It started with the great German brass band event in the club. Bratwurst rolls at $5 a pop went down well, as did the pints-for-the-price-of-a-schooner. Just a pity they stopped serving them at 6pm, just as we were getting started. The MBB were in top form and the words to the 'Wanderers Song' were hilarious. I hope they run this event again next year.

The game, while edge-of-the-seat nerve-wracking, was a fitting end to a monumental career for Hutch. Likewise a good farewell for Matty Simon. Every player stood tall tonight. Special mention for Anderson, Monty, Kalik, and Storm. They were excellent. And Caceres. And Josh Rose. Heck, they all did well. How different a week can be. Credit to the Wanderers players who made it really tough, and their fans who showed their respect when they realised, belatedly, that Hutcho was being subbed. Unfortunately at exactly the moment (80th min) when the Wanderers fans look away to do the 'Posnan'!

The only down-side is that we may have helped the Bogan Scum avoid the wooden spoon. But immense relief that we have dodged it!

Missed that, had pizza round the other side, but we wandered around there about 6.15 and boy, were you guys noisy! Gave me an instant headache. Had to go away and have another beer to ease the head. Seriously, sounds like a great promo and that lounge was absolutely packed. Kudos to the MBB.

WooHoo! We did! And it was a very enjoyable game, probably the best of the season to be at, maybe because there wasn't too much riding on it, except to make it a great send off for Hutch and Matty S., which it was.

Life as a Mariners fan is a lot nicely under Warmsley.

It wasn't perfect but it was gutsy and until we get reinforcements....guts will see us through.

Reddy...top game.
Roux....great to have him back. He needs to overlap better but was very solid defensively.
Ando...very good apart from one shocking pass to no one.
Bosnar.....average.
Rose...thanks Rosey!!!!!!!
Monty.....what a boss.
Hutcho...great first half.
Caceras.....didn't rise to the occasion tonight.
Fab....so exciting but not 100% tonight
Kallic ....good starting debut.
Cernak.....mixed bag but worked hard.

The crowd was easily over 10k.
Well done Pete the atmosphere was good.

What a great night to be a Mariners fan. Very special, and a fantastic atmosphere.

Kalik up front worked really well, and their backline was under constant pressure and didn't like it. Credit to Walmsley for the new approach, although the we need to be fitter if we're going to keep it up. Ran out of gas with 10 to go, but the Wanderers were even more tired.

As with most games this year we should have had it wrapped up much sooner. Wow do we need a finisher.

Credit also to the Wanderers fans who stayed and cheered Hutch after the match. Absolute class.

Crowd of 9,500 pfft. Had to be more like 13,000.
