Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

23 down, four to go.

As woeful as we were on Saturday and have been for weeks, Sydney are in dire form, out of the six and Arnie really seems lost himself.

I'm going out on a limb and predicting a high scorer from both sides as used to be the case long ago... but no idea who'll win.

Be surprised if they get 6k

The disengaged derby? They aren't happy either and I doubt they will travel in number

Stupidly, I always feel like any week we could pull it out of our arse and win the match.
I expect SFC will hack us to bits and we'll get frustrated and self destruct.

Don't know if I can be arsed watching it really.......

We really could win this. We just as easily could implode. Would love to win here. Nothing to lose I guess

I'm an idiot savant without the pesky savant bit
Never know , might be a 3-2 replay from oh those many yorks ago, if it is and we get the points, Arnie better get Charlesworths business card....but, somehow I ain't feeling a victory is on the cards

Sydney are at least half as bad as us for twice the $ spend. But i expect they will do enough to get over us unless we click or they don't punish our expected errors.

If we could pull out a repeat of our 3-0 half against MV, I reckon they will crumble. They certainly won't come back as strong as Victory did, they haven't got that much bottle.

Izzo has probably been our best the last few weeks. Yeah he struggles to set a wall, but apart from that, he's probably kept us from losing by more.

Sydney's win last night will galvanise them somewhat. They should be tired though and we've nothing to lose although two of our best players are suspended.

Expecting a loss, hoping for more.

I think the loss of Austin and Garcia provides us with an opportunity of putting a harder and more balanced side on the field, something we will need against SFC.
Pohang were awful, I think even we could have beaten them.

People when prices are too high: "they should reduce prices"

People when they reduce prices: "Oh ticket sales must be struggling"

:headbutt:

Does anyone really think that ticket sales will be healthy? The coast is not football heartland. No win no crowd.

Adam Peacock explained it well on the podcast. Another season of starving the squad won't be a good look.

He even mentioned the nix and their issues.

Bottom line is metrics matter
