ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

You are talking absolute bollocks Shaun.
I appreciate you might not agree but can you actually attempt to dispute the points made rather than a blanket statement?

Could have been the way the audio was set up but I felt the crowd was more involved for the game yesterday than the Nix game last year.

Connor has been heavily marked each week and has faced two socceroo right backs in succession. While he has been down I don't think we can blame him too much as his position has been great and constantly draws players to bring Fabio/Trent/Roy in to play.
Yeah but it's been longer than that.
Needs more goals, that miss yesterday was from a bad first touch and should have hit the target at worst. Appiah has the same amount of goals as Connar
Needs to go to the next level now defences are cutting him off.
Trent is having more success tha Pain lately and Trent is lacking in variety in his skills.
I want more from Connar to finish the season otherwise he is going to be the guy victory think he is, not capable of producing week in week out over a season.

He is definitely not playing as well as the first few games when he was always in our best 3, hasn't been in our best 3 for a while

Yeah it has been rather disappointing from him recently but I think he has been utilized more as foil in recent times than an actual goal threat. There certainly have been a few chances he should have converted he has missed but he does provide an assist every three games or so (he assisted Roy's goal against City) and provide some wonderful link up play. He doesn't really have anyone putting pressure on him to perform so we definitely need another left winger for next season. NPL shopping looks like a good idea if we can't get a foreigner or AIS graduate.

Pretty good left and right foot from what I can tell.

re: Pain. He's been a key danger man for us this season and other teams have targeted him to shut us down.

Now that the team is starting to gel oppositions won't be able to give him that kind of focus any longer at the risk of Trent or Fabio taking advantage and I seeing him returning to his prior effectiveness

Good scouting Spacks.

He looks excellent. Good feet, pacy, great balance and passes intelligently.

If the weather forecast is accurate I'd suggest a delayed kick off or postponement. 45 degrees out West possibly.
