ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Probably the wrong thread but a chant we used in England when an ex player was playing.

Us: Arnie, Arnie, Arnie.
Arnie turns and waves

Us: Is a wanker, is a wanker.

Could work well when we play Perth with Reddy.

Oh, Arnie, we gave you our heart
The very next day you gave it away
This year, to spare us our tears
We gave it to Paul Okon

Funny how we're all now anti-Arnie but when the club tried it 2 years back they got slammed lol

The second half is very important when you look at the stats, SFC put on most of their goals in the second half after they wear teams down. No doubt we will gift them a few decent chances and we do wilt late in games. Brosque was a threat but the real danger is Ninkovic as he is clearly the stand out player of the league to date. Hopefully Izzo is playing as I couldn't tolerate another Ivan capitulation.

Like everyone I would dearly love to see us put the invincible BS to bed however would settle for a good performance and not a 4 -0 rout again. At least we tend to play better at home, we are not good travelers this season (again).

I know lots of people who aren't anti Arnie. Spend 30 seconds with him and his affection for the coast and our fans is evident. The greenkeeper and our absentee owner? Maybe not so close.
The stunt the club pulled was a disgrace and everyone connected with it should have been terminated that day.
Personally I hope Sydney win it with Danny and Matty on the pitch. While City weep

In spite of Arnie's current rhetoric he actually supported CCMFC since day 1. He was as at the first Grand Final at our end wearing a Mariners tie. He always had links with the club through Lawrie and it was natural that we were the one to give him a go when his name was poison coaching wise. I'm sure he still loves the Coast - though he does have problems with our current owner. Equally - I'm sure that our current owner - though he was very happy with the Grand Final win - is still struggling with the financial troubles of the time.

He's still our best ever coach; I think sledging him is fine but abusing him is not.
My elderly father is a very mild mannered man, but he goes on an abusive Arnie rant every time he sees him or someone speaks his name. Believes he gutted our team and staff and it nearly destroyed the club - all for his own careerist ends. Hard to disagree. But the Arnie era was a great one as a fan.

Oh and I laugh and push back against my father incidentally. But losing Clarke and Crawley will always hurt. Though I'm sure he got them pay rises and better facilities etc so he's done right by them personally.

Steady on - we're not *all* anti-Arnie :D

Timmah, not trying to start a spat, but you do have a bit of a habit of making everything black and white. All or nothing. Never and always on here... polarises needlessly I think. There's plenty of ground in between most of the time. I do love that it's always in die hard defence of the club though.

Arnie is a wanker 3 times a year.

The rest he is just a grumpy bastard.

My wife was against him from day 1 when he left. I was more accomodating of his ambition until his ambition was just SFC.

I think what the club did was great. He just couldn't take a joke (although that maybe more about trying to say to his employer I'm not here for the money). Arnie could have laughed it off but he made a scene.

Great coach who now works for a rival. So gets the rival treatment. Taking players and staff just adds to the annoyance we have been crap ever since he left.

I thought what I was saying was tongue in cheek but obviously I've struck a nerve with a few. I'm glad @adz took it with the spirit in which it was intended though.
What stunt?
The "Arnie Ca$h" stunt
