Going into this game expecting to lose by quite a bit. Hoping we somehow jag a win and be the only team to beat Sydney all season

My God! I have a grown-up-childhood-dream of Tavares scoring a winner for us and the crowd chanting "youuuuu didn't waaaaant him, youuuuu didn't waaaaaant him" at Arnie ;-)

But realistically, at this point i'd be kind of happy to just limit the loss to an unbeaten team of our former greats.

They are to clinical and we will give them a few opportunities.

I'd just like back to back good performances.

We had it going after Perth game and injuries stuffed us. Would like to see a few good games in a row, but please don't break Taveras sounds like his ankle will be a problem all season and will need good management.

Surely Roux due back this week if was close for City.

We need to be careful if we start both Roux and Taveras as can't afford either to break down or tire after a few weeks off.

I'd be tempted to have Taveras as a sub again but against Sydney we really need his skill and experience. Tough choice. We maybe stuffed Faty which is fine but can't do that to Taveras

I'd had one or two beers while watching that match. But I seem to recall they put up on the screen that Roar had 60 odd % possession.
About a minute later Sydney scored their first.
Another thing I noticed was Brosque was booked for a foul. Couple of minutes later he kicked the ball away at a free kick. Should have been booked again. He scored.

So be Ryall with Wilkinson against us, although apparently they do have a visa spot available if they wanted to use that but probably be going after Rhys Williams from Perth.

This game is a biggy.
They are not that good but EVERYONE else is pathetic this year.
I may sound like a crazy man but I think we can beat them.
Obviously if the defenders leave them unmarked we will be f**ked but if they man up an play properly we can beat these overrated twats
