ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

I'm done with this team. I wouldn't support another side in the HAL (no reason to) but there's only so long I can bother with the dross served up ever since Arnie left, more or less.

Shit jersey, shit team, shit attitude, shit results. If the jersey wasn't a clear enough indicator that those in power at this club couldn't care less about the side or the direction we're taking, then I don't know what is.

If this has all been part of some master plan to relocate the Mariners without it being completely obvious then well done to all involved. I feel sorry for anybody who parted with their hard-earned and ignored the hangover to go down and watch this bullshit.

The "little club that could" is no more. It's dead. Gone. Dust. A memory.

I hope Sydney fist them 10-0 so at least then people outside CCM might ask serious questions about this team, because atm it feels like nobody besides the usual 5k faithful care too much...

*Edit* Get a goal back but the point still stands...

The only possible way to make our season worse atm is to adopt your attitude.

I disagree, if no one turned up they'd have to change pretty quick.

Exactly. It's not the losing that's an issue. It's the amateur hour, don't-give-a-f**k-attitude that has defined the decision-making at this club for the past 2 years. CCM don't have the luxury of being based in Sydney or Melbourne where there will always be at least 10k hardcore that will show up. With talk of relocation in more recent years, the last thing this club needs is the dross being served up to help justify the opinion of those who'd like to see NSO or anywhere bar Gosford become "home".

But this is the problem with your approach... If they're working to move the club, as you mentioned, and it's a feasible approach, as you also mentioned... Then the last thing we should be doing, is giving them what they want, isn't it?

Look, I'm p****d... I'm wasting an evening in an otherwise delightful Christmas holiday getting depressed and disappointed, but it'd suck more to not have a team at all :(

Sure. We're absolutely shit. But so is your attitude if you can just wipe your hands of your club.

Alternatively, if there was relegation in the A-League Charlesworth would be forced to open his wallet for a decent coach and some better quality players.
