If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

If we're serious, this is a must win at home.
Will be interesting to see what line up Gombau trots out.

I’m out for this game. Spewing mates 40th surely he should of checked with me first to see if the date was free.

Need Tom back but minor injuries and Mariners have been 3-4 weeks all year.
We owe them for not spanking them last time, get Asdrubal and Powell in the striker position and we can pump what ever line up Gombau puts out. At least they won’t be parking the bus which suits us. We like an open field

Could be wrong but I think we'll be missing Baro this week. Five yellows this season including the pair he picked up in the Sydney FC win.

Don’t think the pair count as he served a suspension for the red that come from them. Maybe just one of them doesn’t count towards the tally.

So he sits on 3 as both are whipped out by the suspension they caused
Thats an interesting one... if he has 3 and gets 2 in a game, he gets a week off AND keeps the 3 counted before the game?

Yeah because those 2 earnt him a week off it stops a double whammy if they then counted to his 5.

Also A League stats has us at 27 yellow cards. The most in the league.
I’ve seen us give up a few yellows this year stopping the play instead of letting them break and score

I thunk we've been harshly judges for some of those yellows too in comparison to how the opposing team's were judged for their fouls.

At least last night, I felt the cards were going one way. Similar fouls copping one punishment for a blue shirt (free kick)... but yellow for a yellow shirt.

Totally agree and the game against Perth was a great example they only received their first card in the 93rd minute but hacked us down all game.

This season WSW have had trouble scoring and have shipped a quite a few goals.
I think we are definitely the better team* and should win this.
Prediction = 2-0

*Regardless of stats we are the better team. Always were, always will be.

This is three points I feel we can definitely take, with asdru back in the starting 11 and appiah back as a threat off the bench against tired legs. Anyone know if tommy is in or out?

Touch and go at this stage. He'll be named in the 19, but whether he plays is anyone's guess. I'd rather he isn't risked if an outcome like O'Donovan's is possible by rushing him back.
