ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

i think it's debatable whether in itself wearing colours makes you a better supporter. *not* wearing colours certainly doesn't make you any better than anyone else.
this i agree with...which forza and i have mentioned before.

"Its not like wearing colours makes you a better supporter and vice versa." - forza

ive seen lots of other people in our bay at other games who have worn shirts other than a mariners one, even other football ones. there hasnt been this outcry before and im sure there are issues more pressing than whether keensy wore the right shirt or not

What happened to you Sunday night Skil? Rangers scored their fourth then I looked around and you were gone. Wondered what became of you!

maybe part time was the wrong word, but your hearts in the wrong place if you wont even wear club colours in a country like australia where nobody gets stabbed for wearing colours

how is any question i asked in this thread a pisstake?
I respect that you have your own opinion however it doesnt mean you need to completely disregard others views.

In your eyes how does wearing a teams colours make you a better supporter then not wearing colours?

I mean maybe Keensy could've done what Skilly did and wear his Spurs (or in Skil's case Celtic) top under his Mariners jersey, but to blow up at him the way some people are on here is pathetic.

You reap what you sow BJ. Keensy is pretty good at dishing it out but seems to be having a bit of trouble taking it.

Simple stuff;
put Mariners colours on > not putting Mariners colours on

It doesn't actually take too much effort to admit it.

LOL, i think you are a bad judge of character

p.s again, wearing colours is a personal preference. Whether you wear colours or not does not make you a better supporter then anyone else.

You should let the thousands of football fans in europe that dont wear colours that they are not showing their true support for their team.

WHOOOAAAAAAA!!!!! "Thousands" of fans "in Europe". Whats that? About 1/4 of a poofteenth of 1%? Maybe we should all start playing the bagpipes too since there's one guy that does that at BT. What about the VAST MAJORITY of people who do wear team colours? Lets just ignore that shall we?

Why should people have to admit that though
Its all about the persons preference to how they wish to support.
Who are you to say one way is better then another way?

There's more then one way to skin a cat etc.
