ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

at times yes . but it seemed like the shape kept changing and looked 352 . it looked different to last yearWe played our usual 4231 with Cernak on the wing in Bernie's old spot.
Was Monty dropping between the CBs?at times yes . but it seemed like the shape kept changing and looked 352 . it looked different to last year
Was Monty dropping between the CBs?
Towards the end of last year we played quite a bit with a shape that varied between a 3-5-2 and a 5-3-2. At the very least, it's another option available to us if it suits.

Cernak seemed to be playing up front . it looked like we were playing a 352
Needs to work on his feet under pressure. SCW sat off our CBs, basically trying to close off passing options to their FBs, but when that was successful and the CBs passed to Reddy, they'd press and as often as not force an error. Reddy and the two CBs need to develop a better routine of keeping the short square ball open, and if one CB passes to Reddy then the pass to the other CB should stay open and we open up the play. If the other striker presses in to block that pass, the DM or a FB will have opened up and we play that way. Need a whiteboard to explain...yeah , and steady seemed to be calling a lot of play (very happy with that )
