I just listened to the Soccer Stoppage Time Podcast. They recon when we lost 1-5 to the U20s we put out our full strength side. Bugger.

Meh, better now than after the season begins. Mossy doesn't have that haunted, wild expression in his eyes, looking like he's panicking, so I won't be either. There could be million reasons outside of 'the side is sh*t' why we lost those games. 'The other teams had a good day', 'Mossy was trialling something', 'They're still figuring each other out' etc. etc.
So far, I think they've performed well in the games that had any sort of points value attached to them... We haven't won any of the pre-season games, but we've won both of the FFA Cup games, I'm figuring that might mean something

No excuses really... If it was to happen at the start of pre-season months before the first league game I could probably believe and tolerate the excuses, but this is just flat out embarrassing.
Semi professional team where most of them still have to work 9-5 jobs towelling up our mariners at home, basically full strength squad and on the verge of starting the season.
I hope this is the kick up the arse Moss and the boys needed to get it together for the FFA cup and the upcoming season.

Roar last night put 10 past Olympic FC (Brisbane Team) the team we beat 1-3 in the FFA cup.
