ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Players Season 2012/2013 HAL8

It is the owners fault we are in this position and the players have every right to be disillusioned. But what I mean is that what is done is done and we find ourselves in this awkward position. The problems will not disappear soon.

We can either sit here and feel sorry for ourselves, or give the next two weeks everything we have. I'm not questioning the commitment of the players but they know they are below their best. Put the issues aside, play the youth in Asia if must be and do everything in our power to win the league.

True but let's try and stay informed as to what is happening to the Club/team and why.

That's the form, stiff upper lip old boy.

It is all the players' fault and they need to buck up and get on with it and stop worrying about their next pay cheque.

The owners have invested money in this club and it is not their fault if they cannot run it profitably or cover the losses.

No one is saying its the players fault. But for their own benefit if not the clubs, its time to concentrate on football rather than cry over things out of their control. I'm sure that all these problems (aside from MS an RG being sold off) were there before the season even started. If selling Matt Simon is the reason behind morale or confidence being so low as Nathan seems to suggest then bring back the cries of Arnold Out cause thats f**king pathetic. The loss of one player (or 2 for that matter) should not cripple a side. Especially one with the depth we have.

Someones brother said on Facebook last night after the loss that Pedj was leaving this week and Arnold and Moss had signed with Sydney FC.

Meh, Pedj has been shite recently (brilliant at the start of the season though) and can be replaced.

If Arnold is struggling to get our guys to concentrate on football matters then good luck at Sydney. What took you 2 seasons to build could come crashing down in a heartbeat. Still wish he would stay though.

I think someone did, "The players just need to buck up".

And you are further misconstruing no one said the players are crying over things out of their control but they would be concerned about their next pay. Some of them went through the collapse of Spirit and towards the end of the season could not afford food.
No on is crying "Arnie out" in fact it is the opposite.,

Just a quick glance at the stats and you can see why they are down. We have the worst record of the top 7 in the last 5-6 games.

I did say that and I'll extend it to the management. The board is responsible for the situation but the players and coaches are the only ones who can make a difference on the pitch.

The next pay should be fine with the money from the sale of Griffiths. The easy option is to say it is all too hard and give average performances for the rest of the season. I'd like to think the culture of the Mariners is a little different, and we can stand up for the two remaining games. If we lose the premiership because we gave our all and Brisbane were still the better team then fine. I'd hate for the players to look back and know they didn't give 100%.

The players love GA. But everyone has a breaking point.. Consider Patrick, who was offered a deal but asked a few questions re the club etc. He has heard nothing back. GA did great job to shield the players, until the sale of players commenced.

The players are giving 100% no question, but they are seriously considering their futures. That procces can dramatically affect performance. It is not the only factor others have touched on those, the season is not over yet.

They've been concerned about their next pay all f**king year and probably most of last year, but still we find ourselves first.
