My slippers are blue with lovely little yellow sparkly bits...No one is toxic on this forum. In fact most of you wear pink sparkly slippers when it comes to the mariners.
So Josh, Bernie, McDonald and apparently Bojic resigned for a few years. Could this be the result of the Russian investors starting to splash the cash?
I have my fingers crossed... By my way of thinking, all these players resigning indicates that Arnie is staying around. If Arnie is staying around then i reckon that the Russians have must have given some sort of strong indication that they are happy and will be involved. However, I'm not counting my chickens just yet.
That is very interesting especially the last line.. hmmm ....
Meanwhile, Central Coast Mariners defender Pedj Bojic has confirmed his future could lie away from Gosford, with Sydney FC and other A-League clubs aiming to secure his services for next season.
The 27-year-old right-back is attracting interest due to both his strong form with the league leaders and the club's financial instability.
''It's nice to know that there's that interest out there for you, and it's a compliment in itself, but you don't want it to be too much of a distraction,'' Bojic said. ''Any move has to be the best financially and for my career but, at the minute, I'm enjoying playing under Graham Arnold and at the Mariners.''

Mariners begin toughest road to Asian Champions League glory
Sebastian Hassett
March 3, 2012
BARELY moments after the full-time whistle at Bluetongue Stadium tonight, Central Coast coach Graham Arnold will herd his players onto a bus to Sydney, officially marking the start of their much-anticipated foray into the Asian Champions League.
That's just the first leg of what promises to be one of the most brutal weeks of the season for the Mariners who, after facing off against Sydney FC tonight, start their ACL campaign against Tianjin Teda on Wednesday before playing Perth Glory away on Sunday.
The Mariners will stay at an airport hotel tonight and then get an 8am flight to Hong Kong tomorrow before transferring to Beijing and then taking a two-hour bus ride to Tianjin. When that match is completed, they'll have to navigate to Perth before flying back to Sydney on Monday and then finally taking another bus back to Gosford.
Such an intense schedule has Arnold nervously hoping his side doesn't suffer any injuries against the Sky Blues tonight, all the while doing enough to secure a much-needed win in the race for the Premier's Plate after Brisbane moved within two points last weekend.
''At the moment all we can do is take each game as it comes because it's going to be a crazy week and we don't know how it's all going to unfold,'' Arnold said yesterday. ''We're coming off the back of a three-game week and so I had to give the players a light-ish week leading into the game and knowing that they're going to be spending a lot of time travelling in the next nine days.
''We're embracing the ACL, we're excited about it and for all the hurdles, I'm especially looking forward to testing our young boys in Asia.''
A major blow to Arnold's preparations for both his A-League and ACL aspirations is the loss of Rostyn Griffiths, who this week agreed terms with Chinese Super League club Guangzhou R&F for a deal believed to be worth almost $1 million.
''It's fantastic for Rostyn, the offer he received was absolutely incredible and I'm delighted for him as a player but for the club. It's a real blow,'' Arnold said. ''I think he was the best number six in the A-League and you can't replace somebody like that overnight.''
In a further blow, Griffiths's potential replacement, Stuart Musialik, who is still yet to make his debut for the Mariners, has broken down again with injury.
'''Stuey' has had a bad year injury-wise with the hip flexor and while we worked hard to get him fit again, unfortunately for him he played in a youth team game against Gold Coast last week and hurt his knee,'' Arnold said. ''I'm hoping to get him out there on the field before the end of the season but at the moment it's doubtful.''
Sydney coach Vitezslav Lavicka will also need to make a change after Hirofumi Moriyasu was ruled out with injury, allowing Karol Kisel to return to the starting side.
Meanwhile, Adelaide United have decided not to take Cassio to Uzbekistan for their ACL clash with Bunyodkor, declaring they won't run the risk of the Tashkent club making an appeal regarding Cassio's eligibility.
In other news, Mariners' defender Brad Porter will become the first Australian player to play in Thailand after agreeing in principle to join Bangkok United.
Elsewhere, young Perth striker Adam Taggart has signed a two-year deal to join the Newcastle Jets from next season.
