Does anyone have the latest on Patrick? It seems from this thread that we still haven't secured him for next season - is this correct?

I'd be tempted to use him at the back of the midfield diamond - with Sainsbury and Wilko pairing in the centre at the back. I know it's a long time before the season starts and a lot of plyers are yet to come and go, but he looks like a natural with his aerial dominance and distribution skills.

Well not really a run in more of a I told him to f**k off cause he is Sydney supporter
Then a few pissed blokes next to me called him a faggot and poof with highlights in his hair so go back to syd
However on reflection he may have thought I called him these names
He then came and went a few times and then finally came and had a chat and asked to be now known a true mariners fan,after supporting ccmfc for a few years now
I said I'm fine with that and we shook hands
The pissed blokes then offered him a beer which he politely declined a few times until he gave in then had a sip then said he didn't want or couldn't have beer as he had post match duties
He then left
Seemed like a nice bloke
I was just giving him shit for being a former sfc supporter
