ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Zwaanswijk - brilliant! I missed this somehow. I was hoping he would he'd surely have to be loving his football as much as ever at the moment, why leave now?

So pivotal to the Mariners as well. Very happy to see this.

Do we want any of these guys?

Terra, Sarkies and Ibrahim look the most likely to get a contract elsewhere in HAL!

Ibrahim is a youth international for Australia, a pacey right winger...although a bit of a lightweight. And Kwabena Kubi-Appiah? (apologies for the order)...I think mariners would be better off developing our own pacey right winger.

Sarkies...overrated would be the consensus?

Terra...has got pace, flair and could give us something different in attack?
Downsides? Age (29), Injury prone and height. Probably the most appealing player for us...

Thoughts?
We've never had a Brazilian in our midsts...

No, not unless one of them is tall blonde runs all day kicks people gets kicked but keeps playing through pain scores goals provides assists and scares the hell out of A-League defenders

I wouldn't want any of them, although Terra is the pick.
Worm is one of the worst imports I've seen.

There are not many off contract players that I would be interested in. The exceptions would be Scott Neville and Michael Thwaite. I'd also like Ben Halloran but he is contracted to the FFA and I suspect will be part of Western Sydney.

sorry my post was a bit incoherent.
As a young right winger, I was comparing whether he was worth buying, or should we support our own young right winger...Kwabena Appiah-Kubi

Interestingly our Kubi..is 2 months older than Ibrahim.

I think I'd stick with our young guy (who is on a very cheap youth contract...)

1) We are signing Zac Anderson, so I doubt we are interested in Thwaite (although I agree he is a good player)
2) On the Ben Halloran contract...surely that contract being transferred to a new club in a different location would be a breach? Surely the only benefit that FFA has currently is that he legally can't sign with another team...and thus by the time his contract is cancelled, western sydney can officially sign him, providing he is willing to play

nothing official, just a strong rumour keeps getting repeated...
But no other club has been rumoured to sign him...which for such a talented youngster indicates that he must have something planned already (hopefully mariners)
