ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Sainsbury has had limited opportunity but he definitely has talent.
He has shown in the games he has played that he likes to get forward.
As far as adding something that Pedj can`t, I think he offers us a football brain.
Sainsbury a)Doesn`t have the first otpion of playing back
b)Doesn`t see the opposition 18 yard box as the end of the
field
c) can put in a decent cross
d) will give us a more balanced attack
e) will give McGlinchey someone decent to work with

To me it seems like Pedj is looking for more $$$ while Arnie is looking for a higher standard of play to which Pedj is unable to achieve.
I think you could be right about improving the quality. Nobody can match the energy of Pedj but as Sainsbury becomes more confident he will provide better running off the ball, better crosses and more footballing nous.

I know Pellers is on contract for another season - but he essentially did not feature at all this year. I can't believe he would be happy with that and think he may seek a release. At 27 he should be in the prime of his career. Has anyone heard anything about how he feels about his lack of game time.

I'm not saying he should of got more game time here - but there are plenty of other teams where he could have had a regular role.

I remember the talk around Wolfo but never saw him play. By the general tenor of this thread he was awesome it seems...

Saw him make his National Youth League debut for the Mariners in Adelaide. After ten minutes promptly turned to my radio partner and said that if Wolfe was to ever make an A-League appearance I would run down the main street of Gosford naked.

He was being schooled by a seventeen year-old kid.

Little know fact but Wolfrey's dad fathered twenty-four children and given Wolfrey's time in Terrigal he was dead keen to break his old man's mark.

I think everyone needs to know the story involving Wolfey, Nicky travis and a chick at terrigal
