Imagine having Internet forum grammar Nazis in 4 different languages!

Grammar rule for writing numbers and numerals

Spell small numbers out. The small numbers, such as whole numbers smaller than ten, should be spelled out. eg. 'four' instead of '4'.

Committed to raising the level of English on the Central Coast!

Melbourne Victory posed to lose star Marcos Flores to the Central Coast Mariners

MARCOS Flores is on the verge of signing a multi-year deal with Central Coast Mariners.

Flores's move could leave Melbourne Victory without a marquee player for next season after negotiations with Greek national captain Giorgos Karagounis stalled.

It is understood Karagounis's management is asking for a contract around $2 million, a figure Victory is unlikely to part with.

Victory could have additional funds if an offer comes in for Mark Milligan from English championship side Queens Park Rangers that is too good to refuse.

Victory has already knocked back in excess of $2 million for the Socceroos star by UAE club Baniyas.

Flores took the A-League by storm at Adelaide in 2010-11 when he won the Johnny Warren Medal.

After an unsuccessful stint in China he signed a two-year deal worth a reported $1 million last July to be Victory's marquee.

But injuries and a lack of form blighted his year. He was left on the bench several times by coach Ange Postecoglou.

The 27-year-old has one year left on his deal.

If he left, Victory would have to pay part of his wage in the first year at his new club to ensure he gets what he was contracted to earn in Melbourne this season.

The Mariners, defending champions, are keen to bolster their stocks after a string of key departures.

Chairman Peter Turnbull confirmed his club's interest in the Argentine.

"Should Marcos come on to the market then we'd certainly be interested," he said.

Postecoglou met Karagounis in Greece last month after he was released by English Premier League club Fulham. Victory officials were initially confident of securing the 36-year-old, but are less so now.

Should the Karagounis ploy fail and Flores depart, Victory would be expected to make every attempt to sign a new marquee.

Olly to Switzerland now 100% confirmed (I am sure everyone has heard)

http://www.footballaustralia.com.au/centralcoastmariners/news-display/Bozanics-Swiss-switch-signed/69144 I am just wondering what kind of $$$ did we get?

Not sure exactly, but not much. Apparently his contract with the Mariners was written so that it would be financially easier for an overseas club to make him an offer, meaning that the Mariners will receive relatively little.

Losing Olly is a big loss from the player point of view, and we also lose (or at least do not gain) financially

haha - i went and had a look at his tweets after you said that and already i like the man, he's obviously a good and happy guy
more than ever i hope to get him, he'd be a brilliant fit at the Mariners in terms of culture and clearly will be a laugh along with Macca and the like. i also think he'd really enjoy his time with us. a real win-win.
and that's not even considering the footballing benefits yet

he has the blue tick of validation which, if I'm to believe the hype, requires some considerable proof to obtain
but then i'm very much a 'lite' user of twitter with little real knowledge on the subject

Top lad, good laugh. He is just having a bit of banter. No idea what he means by giraffes though but he did use the "don't die with the music inside you" quote Arnie likes, so that could mean... something?
