ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Where is mcbreen and patty new contract
That they haven't re-signed yet doesn't mean they haven't been offered a contract. They might not have agreed to the offers put to them. On the other hand, discussions might not have started at all.

According to Arnold's press conference Ryan, ibini, stainsbury and himself (Arnold) all looking to go overseas for next season. He also thinks patty will retire

Didn't see Sainsbury going yet. But how can you be surprised. Was AWESOME today. Again. We will replace them. We always do. But they will be missed.

Will Mossy step straight in for Arnie? If we lose him. That would be my preference.

Arnie said he was happy at the Mariners and has a year left on his contract - he did not definitely say he was going to leave. Very interesting was Patrick with the Fox guys talking about an extended contract with the Mariners (he said he may be applying for Australian passport) which he wanted to focus on him coaching. That would be very interesting...

i hope you're right, i'd love to hang on to him for as long as possible especially for a rebuild and the setting up of a successor.

regardless we couldn't have asked for more and i am happy. we have a great basis of a team to build from and the team spirit that has always seen us through

ACL's not over yet anyway!

this is the source of the doubts however

"Arnold's team made Charlesworth's rescue act all worthwhile. Even though the Mariners mentor admitted he may not be around for another tilt next season.

"I feel like I've completed my own personal journey with this win and while I wouldn't want to go to another A-League club, I do have ambitions to test myself overseas (where there is interest in China and also at English outfit Sheffield United)," he said."

I sat with Patricks wife at the last ACL match at BT and she was saying how settled the whole family is living on the Central Coast They are happiest in a small town environment and the kids are just loving it here.
It sounded as though from the interview with Fox Patrick really wants to put back to football especially among the youth. Great asset for the club thats for sure

Macca couldn't make his mind up what he wants, and then there was a change of majority owner so I understand things are on a brief hold.

Arnold, Ryan, Ibini, Sainsbury maybe leaving, with Dutchie maybe calling it quits...

The Drive Byes & the Smurfs [with Cranky on board] also looking at WS juniors ....

Life next season could be a challenge ....

I was listening to the CoastFM coverage after the game yesterday. I think it was Dutchie, who was asked about his plans - the CoastFM guys seem to automatically have a somewhat friendlier, less official way with the CCM interviews ;)...
Anyway, whoever he said something about how the extensions have been put on hold to let Charlesworth settle in a bit... I THINK (mind is a bit fried) that he indicated that they're expecting to start looking at extensions etc. again next week.
