Thompson would be interesting to talk to & there are some positives.
Thommo`s family live at Campbelltown, so after 8 years away he`d be a lot closer to them by coming to CCM.
He also played for Macarthur alongside John Crawley......
Then there`s the beauty of the Central Coast & to be honest who wouldn`t want to live here ?

There is no one off contract in the league who would add much to our squad. Need to recruit from without, with foreign spaces we have that advantage.

and like Smeltz, he can miss penalties too and Archie's ratio to chances makes Danny look positively clinical...
but listening to the interview with him I have the impression he has already re-signed.
If Arnie says he would like Matt Simon but will struggle to fit him under the cap why would he want to pay for Matt Thompson who will not be cheap.
As for Matsui - you have to love the hide of a club trying to sign him when they could not even pay their own players' wages
as for foreign spaces - how many have we got? McGlinchey, Patrick and Monty are all foreign...only WSW are allowed to have as many as they like.
