ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

i like the bosian, would give us alot of mongerl up front.not that danny doesn't do that.
i think clarkee could repair him and give us good value. his pedegry in german youth teams
pionts to a good player .
and the chance of him putting his foot on bershia throat would be priceless.

Your soft spot has always been your weakness Dibo.

The abuse of Holland was the only thing that kept us entertained at the Socceroos the other week. Judas "Griffiths" was the kindest insult I think.

Just saw Nick ward was one of the players released by Perth - might be met with critisiscm but I think Arnie/Clarke could work wonders with ward

Thompson would be interesting to talk to & there are some positives.
Thommo`s family live at Campbelltown, so after 8 years away he`d be a lot closer to them by coming to CCM.
He also played for Macarthur alongside John Crawley......:)
Then there`s the beauty of the Central Coast & to be honest who wouldn`t want to live here ?

There is no one off contract in the league who would add much to our squad. Need to recruit from without, with foreign spaces we have that advantage.

Pelle needs to go. Simon coming back makes sense, Even if we had to let danny go to do it, he will be 37? and considering the chances he has had, probably could have had 25+ goals if he was smelts/sergio/archie etc IMHO

and like Smeltz, he can miss penalties too :innocent: and Archie's ratio to chances makes Danny look positively clinical...
but listening to the interview with him I have the impression he has already re-signed.
If Arnie says he would like Matt Simon but will struggle to fit him under the cap why would he want to pay for Matt Thompson who will not be cheap.
As for Matsui - you have to love the hide of a club trying to sign him when they could not even pay their own players' wages:redcard:
as for foreign spaces - how many have we got? McGlinchey, Patrick and Monty are all foreign...only WSW are allowed to have as many as they like.

Apologie;s for the lack of information BUT..I was walking past BT this morning(with Deb and Sophi)and the boys were training on the small field and there was this big kid with long blond hair having a run...and I mean big, like the same height and build as brent or Mitch...had no number on his gear so, dunno who he was , but he was quick
