Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Player movements 2013/2014

Of the Mariners players I would like us to resign maty, macca, dutchy and McDonald.

I,m pleased we resigned Pasfield.

I'd happily keep Hutcho and Sterj on reduced contracts as good squad players....but make it clear they are not starting 11.

I haven't seen Oats play so I can't offer an opinion.

They others I wouldn't resign.

Hutch, the club captain, not in the starting eleven?
Oates has gone, c0ntract was cancelled months ago.
I don't want to keep Sterj but Arnie places a lot of value in veteran players to complement the young guys.
We have signed Hayden Morton and Michael Neil for next year from NYL
I am hoping/ expecting McBreen and Zwaanswijk to re-sign
I am hoping/ expecting Pellegrino to resign
I would lurve to keep Ryan but think it highly unlikely
I hope Bernie doesn't move o/s in the off season but not confident
Ramsey? Left sided mid - don't see the point.

Who would you have as captain?

If Matty Simon is really on his way back though, with Kwazza on a fresh two-year contract, do you basically want Ramsey in place of Sterj then?

I'm expecting Patrick and Danny to re-sign for one more year and am optimistic that Maty will re-sign for another 2-3 years (though I don't expect him to be here that long). I'm expecting Pellegrino not to be re-signed and Bernie to leave for other opportunities.

To come in I'd love to see Matty back and try to get Brad Inman who is loaned out from Newcastle to Alexandra Crewe to the end of April.

I suspect Sterj isn't on great money given the timing of when he came in. Happy to keep him if that is the case as a solid squad player. If he decides to hang up his boots then I'd be happy to look at Joey Gibbs if for no other reason to have 3 Central Coast lads in the squad.

Why is gods name would you want to resign Pelle?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Hutch should not be in the starting 11.....he holds back the team. Great bloke, great clubman but that is the cold hard truth.
I have only seen Morton play once and was not impressed.....but Sainsbury's debut was far worse and he has been a standout this season.

I'm not convinced that Hutch will be here - there has been a lot of whispers of an Asian payday. My choice for captain if he was to go would be Monty - if we went with Patrick he would only be a stopgap before he retires.

Drive bys improved dramatically once Gibbs was no longer in the team.....I'm just saying.

Re Ramsay LM. He is often switching sides, so was thinking he could play RM instead of Bernie if he goes. Besides, as GA will change formation pending his cattle, we would have some mobile young players... 433 anyone... Fitzy, Olly left... Weemac, Ramsay right... Monty and Danny up the spine... could do worse.

Anyhow, as I've said before, it's GA I most want to keep. 1 more season with him at the helm, with a bit of stability and I think I could more easily bare to part with him and let Phil Moss continue on his great work.

Love the thought but this guy is going places. Should be on the bench for Newcastle next season.

Íf we shed Wombat's love child Bernie. then either Ramsey or Nichols would be good signings with Nichols being the most expeirenced in that position.
