ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Bernie is my love child too! Nichols is not remotely the same type of player, doesn't play in the same position and is a dick head; On Ramsey I'm not fussed.

From those listed I`d love to see Matt Thompson & Mitch Nichols.
Thommo because he offers so much.
He can play equally as well in most positions (not tall enough for a Keeper though) & would be great playing out of DM next to Monty.(Hutcho as a sqaddie)
Nichols is an exciting player. He did well under Ange but under Arnie he could be anything. As for the no dickhead policy I think our culture would be beneficial to him..

To go:- I can`t see Kwas re-surrecting his career. (I hope he proves me wrong)
Sterj hasn`t set the world on fire
Pellers- has had a few opportunities but just hasn`t made the step up
Hearfield & Oates already gone.

With Patrick only likely to be around for one more season and the talk of Sainsbury for OS the question of re-signing Griffiths becomes important. Zac is more than good enough to be a starting XI CB - but is Brent? Happy to have him as a squaddy - but a season on with both Patrick and Trent likely to be gone we really should be looking to bring in a strong CB.

Actually after just reading Styles post Thompson to come in as a utility would be great.

if it's a cb we're after out of that list i'd like colosimo - great player and all 'round good guy from what I understand

Re Ramsay LM. He is often switching sides, so was thinking he could play RM instead of Bernie if he goes. Besides, as GA will change formation pending his cattle, we would have some mobile young players... 433 anyone... Fitzy, Olly left... Weemac, Ramsay right... Monty and Danny up the spine... could do worse.

Anyhow, as I've said before, it's GA I most want to keep. 1 more season with him at the helm, with a bit of stability and I think I could more easily bare to part with him and let Phil Moss continue on his great work.

As twittered by SBS (how reliable is that) at 2.45pm Iain Ramsay is now off the table as he has been signed by Melbourne Heart

Thompson has been let go by Heart. Not too happy about that decision form his twitter

Thompson has been good for Heart. Handy player. Unrequired for our squad as I see it.
Aloisi has made some choices he will certainly need to live up to. NOt sure he will tbh.

Ramsay, never liked him anyway. ;)

Agree that Thompson would have been on big money, as with bolton, colosimo and fred, so heart will have some good room to move

Not really interested in signing a-leaguers unless they are younger guys like rostyn was or zac ando, most of our best players over the years have come from youth or overseas.

Mcbreen is probably the exception

Talk on Twitter about Mustafa Kučuković coming to trial with us. Unsure on the quality of the source.

-Played in Bundesliga
-6" 3'
-Bosnian
-Striker (wiki indicates he isn't a goal machine but was playing at a higher level)
-Doesn't seem to be with a club currently.

Hmmm... Worrying that SønderjyskE couldn't use him though - Not exactly the best team in Superligaen... But on the upside, he'd be used to target practicing with Nathan Coe, so promising for Victory games ;)
