ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Wonder if we could afford Mooy and/or Spiranovich for next season? Wonder if we would want them? I wouldn't mind having Mooy. Pretty good chance that Beauchamp will be cut loose this year as well, would we want him back?
I`d take Mooy for sure, he`d so good in Yellow!

Mooy would be a good #10 if Flores doesn't come back for another year. But from the way he talks on twitter, Marquitos seems to love it here.

Mooy Who once our little asian sensation arrives

(We hope!)

Is our our new korean only here till end of this season or next - Thought I saw end of hyundai saeson 14/15 somewhere but wasn't sure if that was corrrect. Not much has been said about the length of his deal

But I think Trent's contract was up - The renewal was more of a we will keep you but let you go where ever you want when ever type renewal. We may have a higher percentage in on sell fees as part of our deals. If someone hits the big time then so do we type thing.

We definitely let Trent go for National interest sake & to help him achieve greater things in the game. While disappointing not to get big money it's hard to say no to someone of his quality when they want to further themselves. It would be McBreen times 10 type stuff.

Just shows that contracts are only there to protect the shit players. Anyone else who wants to go can simply chuck a hissy fit and refuse to play anyway or be let go.

or in our case help us sign young talent because
a) they get good coaching
b) game time in the A league if good enough
c) allowed to follow there o/s dreams when ready

So can work both ways
A lot of our young success stories are not coastal born & bread. They are enticed to join CCM & they keep coming.

Looks alright. At 24 years would have thought someone would have picked him up by now. Mark Ruden gives him big wraps though.

@MarkRudan: Congrats Glen Trifiro on joining #CCM Reward for his exceptional season, professional work ethic, attitude & application. Well deserved

To be fair to Trent, I don't think he did that. He apparently *did* press home his right to release under the terms of the contract that is currently in force whereas the Mariners hoped to hold him to the terms of the contract that would have extended his stay (but which is now obviously void), but all I can say to that is apparently we need a better lawyer.

McBreen on the other hand...

Look, I can understand he wanted to set himself up, and I can't begrudge him that. But whether it's him or his agent, threatening to withdraw from the Brisbane trip leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I wish him well, but I'm less happy with how that went down than I am with Trent's move.

As for Trifiro and Cernak - good cover and I'm a little surprised we were able to manage to get them under the cap there. I suppose it's a form of paid trial for them - they might be on minimums to the end of the season at which point we consider their future options.

Apparently Trifiro's only with us on loan:

@SydUtd58FC: The club can confirm that they have released Glen Trifiro to @ccmariners on loan until 31st may 2014.

Cernack has some talent but no consistency.
Not as exciting as Bosnar and the Korean.
Think that Bosnar and
If he impresses he may get a chance. Looks good and can take a penalty.:) Occasionally we unearth a diamond out of the State league, Jedi was such example. What i like about these 2 is that they both have talent but have yet to fulfill their potential. They could both turn out excellent A league players, hopefully it's with us. Mossy also has a chance to buld his own side a bit. Trifito and Cernack both look like attacking midfielders, are we still expecting a left back as cover for Rosey with Neill out for the season? Or is that it? Griff can cover i guess.

Trifiro as a state league player would be on a min. contract for sure. Here is your chance lets see what you can do.

His bro plays for WSW so the rivalry continues
