ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
To be fair to Trent, I don't think he did that. He apparently *did* press home his right to release under the terms of the contract that is currently in force whereas the Mariners hoped to hold him to the terms of the contract that would have extended his stay (but which is now obviously void), but all I can say to that is apparently we need a better lawyer.
McBreen on the other hand...
Look, I can understand he wanted to set himself up, and I can't begrudge him that. But whether it's him or his agent, threatening to withdraw from the Brisbane trip leaves a bad taste in the mouth. I wish him well, but I'm less happy with how that went down than I am with Trent's move.
As for Trifiro and Cernak - good cover and I'm a little surprised we were able to manage to get them under the cap there. I suppose it's a form of paid trial for them - they might be on minimums to the end of the season at which point we consider their future options.
Trifiro [on loan from SFC] and Cernak ...Mossey spoke of a new back these guys are both mids I think .. does that mean we still have one to go ... maybe Troy comes back and use Troy as a back...
Faaaiiirrrr dinkum, our seasons looking better now! Excited to see what our new boys can do.
Yeah saw an article or something saying mariners have treated him well but if things didn't eventuate he'd love to play for newySUFC, not SFC. It's Sydney United.
I don't reckon Troy's coming back - he's playing NNSW NPL with Charlestown and talking up his love of Newcastle.
Perth Glory NYL in 2010Wasn't he an ex ccm NYL player
Glen Trifiro is looking like a very good pick up.

"Glen Trifiro, the 23-year-old Sydney United 58 FC midfielder, deserved his man-of-the-match award after Sunday’s 2-0 win over South Hobart in the NPL Final.
Trifiro, who showed excellent skills, speed of thought and movement and who scored the opening goal, was presented with the John Kosmina Medal."

Correct, 2008/2009If memory serves me correct he was CCM youth prior to joining Perth.
I can't speak for everyone watching the game but I'd say that there shouldn't be any racial abuse coming from any Mariners fans, away fans can sometimes use racial slurs as a cheap unintelligent shot at players and teams, but that's a very small minority and they're not tolerated. Kim will have full support from the Mariners fans! Also, do you reckon Kim will cop a lot of racist abuse up there? Cos I remember the former Jets player Song copping a bit from the Mariners crowd a few years back in a F3 derby.
