ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

absolutely zero people surprised by this one, almost lost him last jan and then in the off season.

this has got to be one of the most intense "transition years" in a-league history!

Club did well to keep this one under wraps. Not surprised, just wish it could've waited till after the season. Oh well, Good luck Trent and thanks for being so amazing. Look forward to watching you again at the world cup fingers crossed.

it might seem that we came close to keeping him but the mariners have apparently been fielding a number of offers, it was a mater of which one... this one being Trents first choice and a place where he is likely to develop. asian teams offered more money FWIW, a very level headed decision

his left footedness also means anderson can play on his preferred right side and moss gets to have the left CB to right winger distribution he wants

Goodluck trent

you should be shaking hands with Fabregas & co in June next to spiravanovic

Aussie back two WSW Spira & exCCM Trent Sainsbury IMO - Now that Rhys Williams has broken down & Lucas will be the tour manager (even though they will give him a playing kit).

Well done Trent absolute brilliant player - Goodluck

Going to be a great round the world tour to watch ex CCM one day - Japan, Holland Belgium etc

Well, sad to see young Trent go but like everyone else i wish him all the best. Will go all the way i think, one of our best ever to wear the Mariners jersey. Lucky for him as well that the Socceroos haven't got a load of options at CB. Agree with Big Al in that Trent and Spira for the WC. Only issue will be whether or nor he gets enough game time between now and then. Doubt (but hope) he will walk straight into his new side. If we do get Bosnar that isn't a bad replacement but will take a little while for him to fit in. Interesting times and more to come.
