ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

What dollar figure would be needed to keep Rogic. (I thought his cameo the other night showed more promise than his previous games, he actually ran rather than stroll)

I'd have Perez back in a heartbeat, so long as the reason he only played one 1st grade game in Sth America was not due to injury.

He was a class above anyone we've had in my opinion.

As for Travis.... No thanks. His attitude towards the fans at the end of the match was disgraceful. Symptomatic of his overall attitude I'd imagine.

IMO he will go were GA goes .... he is after an overseas contract and will more than likely have one within twelve months as long as he can get first team match time...The next contract for him is more about a guarantee of match time in a decent team with a decent coach...if we keep GA we will keep Rogic as well ... BTW only my tho's have no inside info...

That's sound reasoning MF. I wish you were his manager :)

. not an unreasonable suggestion ... also considering the way in which he came to us in the first place

. with little ronnie moving on he won't have to worry about rotating in and out (plus a full off/pre-season and no acl crammed into the start of the next campaign). he will be in a known structure, etc, etc

. moving to say melbourne for a bit of extra fundage could be a short term view and trying to find his way at a club undergoing serious change (following a season of turmoil) may not be in his best interests

. if he does want to move o/s quickly another acl campaign could be the best bet (assuming or course we are eligible)

. he seems to have had some reasonable guidance to date, hopefully we can afford him

Travis was quality but was clearly a dickhead. I remember him giving poor old Porter a spray right in front of me , when Porter was standing like a stunned mullet at a throw in. I was amused at the time Coz Porter was clueless at times! In hindsight I should have jumped the fence and dropped Travis for being a cock but at the time I was enjoyed a cold bluetougue.
I wonder if Arnie could focus his game and slap the petulance out of him because he WAS a lovely player.
As to Perez....yes please!!!!!!!
I have a Colombian friend who I would happily force to befriend him so he could talk about Dora with someone in the know.
As for Rogic...the boy is pure quality.

according to Wiki...it seems Travis is playin down in Melbourne along with another ex-Mariner...caceres.
I dunno how accurate that is...thought the guy would have packed up and headed back home. Maybe playing VPL has taught him a bit of humility?

EDIT:

Seems he gave a penalty away back in July 2011...
Anyone else knew he was playing in Oz?
Musn't be setting the VPL alight if we haven't heard nothing

PS. Was a massive fan of him when he was at Mariners...

Weird that he can't even get an aleague gig... Technically he looked better than wee mac when they were both new

hmm...yes I agree I was more impressed by Travis than WeeMac. But WeeMac has improved ten fold since Arnie came! Not a bad player to consider...as long as Arnie is confident in nullifying any attitude problems
And like I said surely playing state league must have crushed his ego? Maybe gave him a bit of humility, surely he must be aching to play alongside national league players...

Better than Pellegrino? Better than a 35 year old McBreen (who I must say I have been impressed with in CAM earlier this season!)? Still only 25?

Maybe a formation change?

Or maybe let's blood another youth...Anthony Caceres? (More of a CM than a CAM...but Arnie knows whether he can fit into system)

I keep hearing that "poison in the dressing room" line about Travis, but what actually happened? I remember him going off on the field a few times, especially the Porter incident. What was his deal?

I have no idea...just going off what others said. Was really disappointed to let him go...but then we got Olly, Griffiths, Perez and Amini, and then WeeMac reinvented himself...so I wasn't left disappointed for long :p

Others will know more but something along the lines of trying to turn the squad against Lawrie.
