Doubt it has anything to do with the APL. Sounds like there was already tension there with management and I've heard plenty of people say its a mess behind the scenes so it's not out of the question. If the Sydney offer comes up he knew which buttons to press to bail out. Maybe he's making himself available, maybe he was just done out there.

Time will tell but yeah starting to think it was just an issue with the Club foremost. He might end up somewhere but don’t think it was the catalyst.
