ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Hang on, where did this "reacting to sledging" talk come from?

The opening post makes it sound like the player just lashed out at his "supporters", completely unprovoked:

.... I witnessed a CC Mariners player getting out of his Black Subaru and projecting verbal abuse at a group of Mariners fans stationed on a nearby balcony.

These fans were chanting "mariners fc (clap clap clap) mariners fc".  To my disgust, this player got out of his car and proceeded to yell back, "come down, if you think you're hard enough".  ....

Was "mariners fc (clap clap clap) mariners fc" sung in a sarcastic tone? Or was there more to this exchange that was omitted from the opening post?

Surely there must have been more said then just 'mariners fc clap clap clap'. Like actual sledging.

why did he even do it? whats so bad about them chanting about the mariners? am i missing something here? is it considered offensive to support your team in the central coast, as it would explain alot...

EDIT: didn't read last page, obviously it had to be something more than just singing about your club.

Any man should have the right to go off at someone if they have a go at him.

Note: I haven't read every post here and every detail, cause it's probably just a load of s**t

I dont care what hutcho does as long as he rips into the jest fans with as much malice as he usually does. He is the only player who always steps up against them, most of the rest do not seem to care we are playing the scum more than any other game
