ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Number 7 fires more off the field than off the field.....

I tend to agree with Bear and find your use of Google not in the true spirit of trivia and somewhat unsporting.

I don't know if I will be early enough for you at the Kendall on Friday night. Are you coming to the golf day now it is a new date?

Whilst the use of Google was not precluded, I believe it was implicit in the request to see if anyone knew where the quote came from.

The fact that Mick had to google it confirms that he didnt know (otherwise why look it up).

i am just being resourceful

you don't have to know everything - just where to find it, which is what most do anyway

i should not be punished for having good resource and investigation skills

also, no one stated or even implied that the use of google was against the spirit of the post

I think since Mick referenced his source (albeit not using the Harvard method) it should be allowed, and thus one ice cold frothy is owed.

Was it fifa 09?

He was in a medical journal chatting about the effects of Cartilage/menisci injuries:

What is that?

The knee is supported on both sides (medial and lateral) by strips of cartilage called menisci. Trauma or injury to the menisci can occur from a severe impact, (Sydney Player ) twisting movement ( thats soccer ) and notably with weight bearing activities or exercise. ( too many pies ) A person with a cartilage tear may have difficulty with prolonged walking or standing, squatting or crouching or playing a game in the HAL!!.

Of course Fifa 09 does not have all the answers or may not be 100% correct.

IF Hutch did this, why didn't someone just go downstairs and 'talk' to him about the matter? Or wait until the next time you saw him to find out what his 'problem' was? IF he was being a d*ckhead to fans after the match, maybe it might have been more an embarassment to him to explain himself at the next post match function, to those he sledged, in front of Lyall or Turnbull or Lawrie?Surely putting the story up on the forum should have beena  last resort? And yes, the last time I saw him, he does drive a dark coloured Subaru.

Or, he could have just said nothing at all.  He could have kept his cool, ignored the 'sledge' and kept walking to his car...

Everyone seems to be a bit girly here but anyway.

I saw it happen and was not really surprised to see Hutch's tossbag attitude come out, i'm sure it could have been him trying to be 'hard' in front of his missus-thing... but yeah, if it was another day and he wasnt in his CCMFC tracksuit, i wouldnt care.

It was quite sad really....

I think considering the way he played against NZ he should PUT UP OR SHUT THE FARK UP!!!

Talk about small man disease.

P.S - Hutch I am better than you and I tell myself that everday.

The more you react to sledging the more you cop.
The scum fans will give him heaps on Friday.
Will he be tough enough to cope with it or will he whinge?
It should be interesting.
