ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!
If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.
ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.
+1... No way is Matty going to be picked for internationals on his form. Porter has listened and learned, wish some of the others had done so.tsd said:porter had a cracker apart from a few stray crosses, redders was great too. Simon was a fringe socceroo but is on his way to being a fringe a-league player. Disco must be giving him lessons

The downward spiral continues.
funny that.. because we played like a gang of cockatoos tonight, and certainly sounded like them too.Timmah said:Apparently a gang of cockatoos wreaked havoc on the pitch this week? WTF?

The comments from casual fans leaving the ground were far, far worse.
I dont see any point in marking the players on tonight or slagging them off.
Positives:
Redders was immense - we need have no worries if Danny goes
Porter - berst game for CCM IMHO
Nik - Worked his arse off, cant ask for more - got no service.
Tifo - Fantastic well done to all concerned. Great effort
Final positive? Maybe the recycling of players who have failed before will now stop and we will see some major changes with next season in mind

northernspirit said:i was on the western side for once, usually in the bay and had a better than normal view of the game from the upper tier ... agree with FFc: mrdja was actually better than matty simon and wasnt sad to see simon make way rather than mrdja - more worringly was the poor form of both nick travis and michael mcglinchey.... travis seemed to make poor decisions and poor touches on the ball and wee mac was anonomous for most of the game and when he had his moment to shine he missed an easy chance on goal...
all in all an absolutely woeful performance from the mariners, i said before the game if we didnt pick up the 3 points the season is over and i stand by that, we should look towards next season and forget about this campaign, its dead
marinerheart said:Pretty soon..If things keep going the way they are.. you wont see mariners fans at away games. There are a handful that go to the long distance games, only to have a high chance of being disappointed... i say why bother?
and in the end whats the point in a team playing away in a stadium that has no fans supporting them?
There were 7 supporters at the youth game against sydney last week and approx. 40 more supporters came for the A-League clash.
Numbers are dwindling rapidly...
If we were playing Sydney FC in Sydney next week, i doubt there would be even a handful of supporters there.
Things are bad, and its only going to get worse if things arent changed.
Didn't hear the boos.........was well out of there by that time !Jazzie said:What about the boos ..... ? A gut reaction from disappointed fans ... totally understandable imo.
