    ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

    If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

    ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

Have I mentioned that if the boys start accumulating win after win, what the shirt looks like is probably moot

We could win the comp & it still won't change the fact that it's a 'shit-looking shirt', which has many claiming they won't be buying.

Unfortunately being the 'povo' club we are, shirt sales you'd think, would be of some importance. Win the comp & then maybe it will sell as a 'collector's item"

I spoke to two people strongly connected to the club this week and both thought the new shirt is shit but was apparently signed off by Stadler (payback?) what I didn't understand is that they said the club couldn't back out and change it now??? Does this indicate that production of the shirt had already taken place???
I want to support the club and buy a new shirt but I'm embarrassed to wear it and I'm sure I'll end up in a tussle with some Scummers or Westies if they take this piss too much........

I think this year I'm gonna buy a polo. The polos don't look too bad and they certainly look better than the shirt. That way I get a shiny new thing but I don't have to wear that.

Where have you seen the polos? Nothing in the club e-store!

You think our kit's bad......

Hummel say's "we can Out-Krap Kappa! ";

D J. League Division 2 side V-Varen Nagasaki aren't the first side to don a tuxedo strip - lower-league Spaniards Cultural Leonesa beat them to that one last season - which makes it all the more baffling as to why the Japanese side would bother doing it all over again. But they have, to mark their 10th anniversary, with Hummel producing black and white versions for outfield players and goalkeepers respectively.

If only that was all. Not content with simply marking their own birthday, the second tier side have also commemorated the 70th anniversary of the devastating atomic bomb that struck Nagasaki in 1940. "The peaceful pray statue in Nagasaki and the folded paper crane are part of the design of this jersey," said V-Varen coach Takuya Takagi. Their
hearts are in the right place, at least.
