ccmfans.net is the Central Coast Mariners fan community, and was formed in 2004, so basically the beginning of time for the Mariners. Things have changed a lot over the years, but one thing has remained constant and that is our love of the Mariners. People come and go, some like to post a lot and others just like to read. It's up to you how you participate in the community!

If you want to get rid of this message, simply click on Join Now or head over to https://www.ccmfans.net/community/register/ to join the community! It only takes a few minutes, and joining will let you post your thoughts and opinions on all things Mariners, Football, and whatever else pops into your mind. If posting is not your thing, you can interact in other ways, including voting on polls, and unlock options only available to community members.

ccmfans.net is not only for Mariners fans either. Most of us are bonded by our support for the Mariners, but if you are a fan of another club (except the Scum, come on, we need some standards), feel free to join and get into some banter.

How long before the Club realises that Mulvey sold himself well to an incompetent selection panel and is unable to deliver on what he promised.

It is time for the club to admit the error, pay him out and attempt to move forward.

Leaving it until the end of the season will be too late. We need to be building for next season now!

I feel we could go back and find this post word for word from various users over the last few years, just replace Mulvey with Okon, Walmsley or Moss.

Interview:

MC:"So tell us about yourself?"

MM: "I'm really cheap and I'll do whatever you tell me"

MC:" Congratulations, you are hired"

Yeah....if MC has said he's happy to spend more money (for Jan recruitment), I'd rather he didn't and put it towards next season.

I'm not - we need to make a statement now - both by re-signing the guys we want and with new long term signing if possible.

First it may resurrect the season, if not at least we may avoid the spoon - but more importantly it sends the message that we are serious about next season. 3 spoons in 4 seasons does not do that.

I'm not sure a coach anywhere can survive 10 straight losses except here coz we can't afford another sacking and payout. He's lucky he's not coaching in England.

Forget the send off, forget the loss.

Today's starting line up was getting closer to the best 11 available on the park

The trouble is that it has taken half the season and is still not right.

This should have been worked out in the pre season or at the most by round 3.

Not good enough, Mulvey out.

"I want to have a team that the fans will be proud of even when we lose" MM before the start of the season.

Another loss and I am far from feeling proud.

Not just Mulvey, but every single person in the football department. If your job has anything to do with the on-field performance, off the Centrelink you go.

And I'm putting Mielekamp in that bucket, given the involvement he has on key hiring decisions.

Until we get new owners who will spend some big money (because we have to pay way, way above market rates for our players, which is completely handicapping us) - and who will force a complete purge, nothing will change.

Some new players? Maybe a new coach? We'll still be in the same spot this time next year if that's all we get.

That's if we still have a license.

But the club also needs to show some hint that positions are performance based. Mulvey Out.

If only we had some kind of drafting system like in America, where being shit eventually evens out because you get to pick the best up and coming players to claw your way back.

We have nothing, we are just going to get shitter and shitter and the big four will happily watch us fall.

It's meant to be called a salary cap....but it's been subverted for the interests of citeh, SFC and mvc
